Hi all so I have now been back for 2 weeks now and I have never experienced these sort of holiday blues as I am having now, anyway let me begin my trip report finally.

TRAVEL DAY 11th September

Well after all the planning travel day had finally arrived.
So after a pretty chilled out night before we did manage to get some sleep but we woke and were downstairs by 6am. We had some toast and of course a cup of tea and then waited until the minibus arrived at 7am.
Steve and the minibus driver put the bags into the bus and Steve let the driver in on the secret, not long after the grandchildren and my daughter arrived and the driver played along with the secret. We then waited for Ben and Stacey so I thought I would give them a ring to see where they were, Ben put a voice on as if he had just woken up which started to panic me, so I then said to him you best get a move on otherwise we will be late, to this he started laughing and said we are just about to walk out of the door! Needless to say he got a whop when he walked through the door. But it did make a good start to the day.
After their cases were put on the bus, loo visits completed and we then all loaded ourselves on the bus and we set off only to get a couple of roads away when my husband realised he had left his phone behind so we turned around and went to get the phone. 1 phone picked up and off we went again and headed to Gatwick finally just after 7.30am.

We had a lovely clear route to the airport not 1 bit of traffic even for the M25, we arrived there for 8.40am and unloaded the bus, we said our good-byes to the driver and he then said to the kids and Louise that he was just popping off for breakfast at McDonalds and when they had finished saying their good-byes to us he would be here waiting for them to go home.
Once inside we got them together and I said 'I had forgotten to put the luggage tags on and would they help me
all 4 of them wanted to help so they took it in turns to be given the tags.

So as you can see once it got to Gary's tag he looked at it and it wouldn't sink in that he was going but we carried on and it was Aiden that realised they were going to Disney. The other 3 were really excited and jumping up and down but Gary still couldn't believe it. Check in had a bit of a queue but didn't take that long and once all luggage had their labels on we headed to security and it was a breeze as we were set through the family area which had no queue and yes you've guessed it out of all 10 of us everyone except Gary went through okay. Gary had another search and everything was fine. We then went straight to Frankie and Benny's for some food, it was a great way to start the holiday. Here they all are waiting for their breakfast.



Once finished we went and brought a few bits for the plane and then went and people watched for about an hour. Very soon our departure gate went up so we headed for gate 17 where we found this lovely lady waiting for us.



It was English Rose, we all sat in the lounge and waited until we were called for our seats, as we were in rows 26,27,28 & 29 we were the very last to be called.
We all got to our seats and got ourselves settled for the flight, the Captain then came over the tannoy and welcomed us to the flight then gave us some good news and that was the flight would be 8 hours which was great news as the last time we went it was roughly 9 - 91/2 hours.
The flight was pretty uneventful so I took a few photo's : here they are.

When we came to the landing Gary came over all hot and felt sick, thankfully he wasn't and all went smoothly. We fairly quickly got off the plane and headed for immigration, must say we were through immigration within 20mins but then it came to collecting the luggage, we managed to collect 6 out of the 7 bags and after a while we realised all the bags had gone through and the last one was nowhere to be seen, so we went to see about what we had to do to get it back. They had a check and couldn't find it but there was another very similar one left on the carousel, they took a note of our baggage number and we then went off to pick up the van. It didn't take long to pick the beast up

We put the aircon on straight away and then made our way to the Villa, on the way we stopped off at Walmart and got a couple of bits and a McDonalds and then headed to the Villa. We finally walked into a lovely cool house and the kids went straight to bed where Gary finally said I believe it now. After we had a cup of tea and a chill we were all in bed by 10.30pm.

Can't wait to read the rest of the report. Our next visit (not until 2017 or beginning of 2018) will probably be 8-10 of us so I'm interested in how yours worked out logistically.
