(and a $$$ update) 014. Dollars and Documents 015. Be Our Guest Food Pre-Order Hi everybody! Even though I haven't yet completed our trip report from May this year I've decided to crack on and start a pre trip report for May 2015. You can read my 2014 trip report here. So, on to the introductions! My name's Amy, I'm 22 (well on Thursday anyway), work in accounts and have been a Disney fan my whole life. In fact, when I was born my grandma gave me a Mickey Mouse cuddly toy she had her friend bring over from Florida, and I still have him now. I've been to Disneyland Paris 5 times and Disney World once. Obviously once was not enough Lewis is my other half, we've been together 5 and a half years and got engaged on our first Disney World trip in May. He's 21, and is a "genius" for a very popular computer/phone/tablet manufacturer. He wasn't into Disney at all when I met him, but I've totally brainwashed him since. His absolute favourite is Wall-E. Here's a couple-y photo of us. Our plan after our first trip to Disney World this year was to start saving for a house together. That plan went out the window just 7 days after we landed back in the UK and another trip was booked. What can I say, we had the best time! Here's a summary of what we've booked so far:- 14 nights in Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort. Flying Tuesday 5th May from Manchester direct with Virgin. Staying over at Radisson Blu the night before. Lewis did 3 weeks training in London back in April and the hotel gave him a Club Carlson card loaded with points. We used this to book a free room, but have just recently requested an upgrade to business class for £40. We have 14 day Ultimate tickets for Disney and have upgraded from the quick service plan to the next one up. Travel City Direct initially wanted around £500 for this upgrade, but we tried them again and got a different agent who offered it for £270. Bargain. My next update will contain our itinerary and ADR plans! Edited at 02:19 PM. |

Itinerary and ADRs
Since our ADR window is quickly rolling around, we've drafted up an itinerary of where we want to go on what day and where to spend our dining plan credits.
May 4th - Train from Newcastle to Manchester Airport and spend the night in the Radisson. May 5th - 11AM Virgin flight direct to MCO. Check in at POFQ and head to DTD for a quick service meal at Wolfgang Puck Express. May 6th - Magic Kingdom, dinner at Be Our Guest in the evening so will probably miss rope drop and explore the hotel. May 7th - Animal Kingdom, lunch at Yak n Yeti (Table Service), head back to hotel, visit DTD and have a late dinner at Raglan Road. May 8th - Visit the Boardwalk in the AM, head over to Epcot for dinner at Via Napoli and extra evening hours. May 9th - Breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe then on to Magic Kingdom. Extra evening hours at MK this evening so will probably head back to the hotel then go back to the park later on. May 10th - Hollywood Studios, probably in the PM. Dinner at Sci Fi Diner. May 11th - Animal Kingdom, breakfast/lunch (unsure which) at Tusker House, spend afternoon in park then to Animal Kingdom lodge for dinner at Jiko. May 12th - Universal/IOA. May 13th - Universal/IOA. May 14th - Blizzard Beach in AM, Hollywood Studios early afternoon then get the boat over to the Boardwalk for dinner at Flying Fish. May 15th - Florida Mall, then on to DTD for dinner at Wolfgang Puck Cafe. May 16th - Extra Evening Hours at Magic Kingdom again so an afternoon visit with dinner at Ohana in between. May 17th - Lunch at Beaches & Cream, walk over to Epcot. Dinner at Tutto Italia, Teppan Edo or Chefs de France (help us decide which!) May 18th - Last full day, probably Magic Kingdom. May 19th - Morning at DTD before catching Magical Express back to the airport to go home I only booked our ADRs for this year around 3 months in advance, so I'm pretty sure this is going to be me on Thursday when I'm booking everything I want:

We really loved it in May this year! It got a bit hot sometimes around 2-3PM but as a whole the weather was fab and crowds were very decent. Epcot looks so pretty with the Flower & Garden Festival too
