yep it's one of those dishes where you can even feel virtuous eating it (but don't be fooled, Cheesecake followed from the next door Cheesecake Factory so virtue was short lived.

Despite always promising myself to eat more fish when I'm away I then worry that I'll waste my money and stick to old favourites like the salmon dishes... looking forward to reading about the restaurants I've not heard of before

Hash House A Go Go

When we visited, HHAGG had not been opened for long. We had a $5 off $25 spend coupon that we'd picked up in a coupon book in the rack outside Village Inn near Seaworld. I knew the portions would be huge as it's been featued on Man v Food, so we went for brunch, planning to combine breakfast and lunch.

This looks like a hot chocolate

This is the so-called "basic" breakfast, around $8
"The Basic: Two egg breakfast any style, potatoes, fruit and biscuit or toast"

This is The Tractor Driver Combo, which is Two Eggs with bacon sausage or potatoes (we chose potatoes) with Griddled French toast dipped in banana cinnamon cream w/ pecan maple syrup (it cost around $10-11)

And this is also The Tractor Driver Combo, this time with a Flapjack as big as my 12 year old child

It was still far too much food, so pancake, french toast, griddled banana etc were boxed up to live in the fridge for a few days, although I do remember sticking the flapjack into the microwave in a moment of guily pleasure late one night topped with Ben & Jerrys coconut and pineapple ice cream

Was this your first visit to a HHAGG anywhere? I'd assumed you'd been to one on the West Coast!

Those flapjacks - so bad but so so good!
