This holiday sounds completely amazing. You are going to have such a magical time. I haven't read the whole thread yet but wanted to leave a comment and will be back later.

Your trip sounds a lot like ours in the sense that it'll be our 3rd wedding anniversary also, we also did the Wild Africa Trek on our honeymoon and DW had been to Disney many a time with her family whereas I had never been until I met her and now I'm hooked also!

Have to say Le Cellier was pretty much our first ADR on the list, purely for Pretzel Bread and the Steaks! We would love to go on a cruise though it's something we've spoken about a couple of times so I'll definitely be checking out the pics!

Just read your section on dining choices and they all look amazing. I have just booked our adrs and, even though we are not staying onsite for the whole time I got everything I wanted at the times I wanted including BOG and an 8am at CP so I'm sure you will be fine. Good luck!

That's so exciting

Unfortunately not at the moment as you can see from my signature I have been quite a few times (never enough though). I would go back in a flash but I have just bought a house with my bf and so a Disney holiday isn't on the cards right now. I am hoping for a big one in a couple of years or even a "cheap" week or 10 day one sometime sooner (staying off site) xx

We stayed at SSR last year and loved it! Its such a lovely resort. We stayed in The Springs and found it fab for pool, bar, transport and walk to DTD! You've chose wisely!

Love your restaurant choices. Love Tuskers, although not sure this is on our list this year, Teppan Edo a must and Cali grill

Looking forward to updates and i'll have my fingers crossed for ADR day xx
I really am on a full on planning mission, I think it helps to build my excitement!

We're still unsure about what part of SSR to request, there seems to be so many nice areas. I'm glad to hear that you think it's a lovely resort.

You'll have to try and squeeze Tuskers on to your list it's my favourite Disney breakfast and I am in love with the tater tots!

Hoping to update at the weekend.

Thanks for reading,

I noticed a few similarites when I was reading your trippie! Disney addicts definitely like sharing the obsession with their partners!

Mmm, I forgot about the scrummy pretzel bread...

I'll make sure I take plenty of cruise pics; I think that it is one of the parts of the holiday that I am really excited about, as it is something that neither of us have done before.

Thanks for taking the time to read,

Hello again

That's really reassuring to know, especially for the popular ADRS like the early morning CP and BOG. I'm glad that you managed to get all of yours!

Even though this will be my seventh time, I totally agree that there will never be enough!

My husband and I had to take time off of holidays (and pretty much anything that cost money!), when we brought our house a few years ago - it is worth it though, as you have somewhere to store all of the Disney merch that you bring back!

I hope you can start planning another visit to Mickey soon.

Parks & Activities Update

Parks & Activities

We haven’t got around to finalising all of our plans yet, but we have been narrowing down the parks that we want to visit and some of the different activities that we would like to do whilst waiting for our ADR day to arrive.

The 21 day ultimate Disney tickets were added onto our hotel booking, so we are all good on the WDW front, as this will cover our entire stay. We will also be visiting Universal, but are unsure for how long. When researching prices last year I found a brilliant buy one day and get another day free deal, which would have been brilliant as we are only at HRH for 2 days. However, the ticket was only for 2014 and I can’t find a 2015 version anywhere now – one site is offering the same deal for Hollywood Universal. I am in a bit of a conundrum now, as although the two week park hopping tickets that you can buy in advance are good value if you are visiting more than a few times, they are not that good of a price for two visits! If anyone has come across some bargains or has any ideas, I would really appreciate them. At the moment, I think I am just going to have to suck it up and buy them, as the two day tickets direct from Universal are only around £10 cheaper and looking on the brighter side I am sure that Nathan would love to squeeze in another visit prior to our HRH stay .

We are not planning a trip to SeaWorld this year. We went a couple of times back in 2012 and although we enjoyed ourselves, I am not sure that there is anything there that we really want to see again. We felt a bit ‘showed’ out, especially on our first day there; we felt as if we were just moving from show to show! Unfortunately, it just doesn’t seem to hold our interest as much as the other parks. I know that there are many out there that love it and I can certainly understand why, if we (when we!) go back to Orlando in a few more years it might make it back on to the list! Busch Gardens and Discovery Cove have not made it this year either, I don’t think with everything else that we have planned that we would have enough time or money to squeeze them in to the itinerary .

There are a few activities that we also want to experience this holiday. Nathan would love to see a basketball game, but unfortunately it looks as though we are going out of season. He is keeping an eye out though for any pre-season warm up games or charity matches, as this is something that he has always wanted to do. If not, he is also doing a bit of research into baseball games and hopefully there will be some kind of sporting thing that we can go and cheer on!

After having a brilliant time on the EPCOT Segway tour and the Wild Africa Trek tour, I would like to do another Disney behind the scenes experience. I have read lots of positive reviews about the Keys To The Kingdom tour and it sounds like something that I would really be into and be able to geek out on! I read quite a lot of the WDW fact and hidden magic books, so it would be brilliant to hear some more information first hand from Disney .

I would also like to book the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party after having such fun at this on our honeymoon. I know it’s not everyone’s favourite, but we really appreciated not having to stake out a space hours in advance in the heat and humidity. Nathan also has a very sweet tooth, so he made his money back on all of the desserts that he consumed! I also got to try a cannoli that I heard so much about on Cake Boss and Everybody Loves Raymond! Another firm favourite that we are also hoping to squeeze into the plans is the Fork and Screen cinema at DTD. Again, something else that Nathan has requested as he loved the seats! I would like to have a go at the new bowling lanes also at DTD, as we are a very competitive couple and I always relish the opportunity to beat Nathan!

The last activity that we are considering at the moment is a trip to Clearwater. We didn’t make it to any beaches last time and I have never been to any on visits with my parents, so I am looking forward to doing something new. I am hoping that we will get to go out on Little Toot or SeaScreamer to see the dolphins in their natural habitat. It sounds like such an exciting experience, to have the dolphins follow the boat along and see them so up close. I am verging more towards Little Toot at the moment, as they seem to have more success with dolphin viewings, although I am sure that Nathan would prefer the adrenaline rush of SeaScreamer!

As you can see, we have a hell of a lot planned and I am sure that we will also try and squish in a bit of mini golf and shopping too! Now that park hours have been finalised I am hoping to put an itinerary together soon, so that we have a general idea of what we will be up to and also to ensure that we are relatively near are ADR reservations on the day.

How are all you other summer Dibbers getting on with your day to day plans? I don’t feel as if I am as organised as I should be yet and really need to tackle the busy day guide and EMHs soon! It’s probably because I have been side-tracked prepping for my college’s trip to DLP. This is planned in over the first few days of February half term and it really does take a lot of planning when you are taking 42 teenage girls to Disney!
