Try getting t shirt transfer paper, then you print your name and image (flipped as it's transfer) and then iron on. Ours were ironed onto the plain plysinger. Looked pretty good. We had two extenders for the 5 of us, I'm wondering if yours might be a bit long. I'll try and find a pic later.

Just seen yours on the FE post I put on the cruise boards - looks fab! I think I'll take off a little length but should be ok as the fish is apparently at 5 1/2 ft.

Hello fellow May cruiser!
FE looks great, I may copy but I quite like it as it is maybe with some additions- only need three so ideal. I became quite creative for our las trip- 15 tshirts with iron transfers! LOL at your descriotion of using a sewing machine that is me too but I was also rather hot and frazzled doing all the transfers! Please Pm the link to your FE group- now Oct trip is over I can concentrate on the May one!

Car hire Part 2...and 3 and 4!
lbs lost = 19 - was more but took a bit of a bashing at Christmas but back on the diet now!
£ saved = ? Still not done any ebaying but been putting plenty in my saving pots So we easily managed to save up enough Tesco points to cover our 3 day hire from Miami to Port Canaveral, thanks to Topcashback. We again booked through affordable car hire using Budget. I'm hoping that by using the same car hire company they will let us store our car seat whilst we cruise, if not we will be dragging it on board along with our suitcases and pram! We've gone for a standard SUV again and cost £117 used £105 vouchers so total cost cash £12! With the Majority of our car hire booked I still had a dilemma of how to get from Disney to Universal half way through our trip and also back down to Miami at the end of our holiday. Luckily I held off with this as (will definitely need another update for this!) my Mothers decided to join us part way though our holiday, therefore we now need a 7 seater. Luckily she will join us the last couple of days of our week at the villa so we have decided not to change the standard SUV and just do a couple of trips wherever we go. We considered using Tesco points again but with a minimum of 3 days hire the parking costs at universal would probably outweigh any savings. So we've booked with Alamo Brits at around £35 for each one day hire for a 7 seater. We will have to pay one nights parking on our last night as we plan on setting off back to Miami early doors, but this will mean we can do any last minute shopping night before So, that's all car hire booked and paid, just better take a spare credit card for all those deposits!

APD Scrapped £213 back! Thank you kindly :)
So the scrapping of air passenger duty meant that we were entitled to a £71 per child for our flights, meaning our flights have now cost us just over £1800 for 5 of us! £360ish pp!
Thomas cook were great and refunded without much chasing. Now to plan where to spend those extra ££

Yay Mummy is joining us!
So, ever since my wedding holiday back in 2013 my Mum has said how she would love to come with us again back to the US. To be quite honest I thought it was a bit of a pipe dream with her (slightly controlling) husband never wanting to holiday anywhere
other than Portugal! I mean I was surprised she was allowed to come to my wedding! It was whilst visiting my younger sister at Uni in Newcastle that she seriously started talking about joining us. She was upset saying how since my younger sister flew the nest she is so bored and wanted to start enjoying her life. So I convinced her to grow a pair and we got to it! My Mum wanted to do around 10-14 days so obviously couldn't get the same flight in as us, so we checked out flights into MCO. They were quite a bit more expensive, but checked to see if she could get the return on the same flight as us. This was coming in super cheap at £160, so she's decided to hitch a ride with us down to Miami. We originally went into Thomas Cook to try to book as online wouldn't allow us to depart from a different airport. We were in the shop for what seemed like forever only to be told they couldn't get the price we were getting online! We eventually had to make two one way bookings, with a nail biting few minutes in between hoping one of the flight prices wouldn't go up! Luckily it didn't and she got the flights for £460 total - not too shabby She'll be flying in on the 26th May and back home with us on 7th June Whist she was on a roll my Mum also booked her hotel for the week we are at RPR. She had considered a cheaper hotel just outside Universal but in the end decided to stay onsite so she wouldn't be getting taxis or shuttles too far on her own. We did price up RPR but for a single traveler the price was just too much, and I couldn't get anywhere near what we had got it for (so glad I booked when I did!). She eventually decided on Cabana Bay. It will mean no express passes but I'm sure she will live with that, she will still have early entry and we can pool hop to each others resort, which the kids will love with there being a lazy river at Cabana Bay Must admit I'm a little bit jealous, I love the retro look of this resort, shame they don't offer express passes Now I need to keep an eye out for somewhere for my Mum to stay when we are at Animal Kingdom/WDW Dolphin. Anyone who has any recommendations for a hotel nearby (with not too big a price tag) or who sees any deals please give me a shout So pleased that my Ma is coming with us

Cruise update & FE gifts.
Sorry for the mass of updates, but I rarely get on the PC anymore and struggle with the updates on my phone! Whilst I get the chance going to get it all down here - its helping me to get my head around whats left to do!
Anyway... Last week I paid off my cruise! I have had the money for a while but was hoping for an improvement in the exchange rate following Christmas. As I'm sure you all know unfortunately it went the other way! On the bright side I saw a slight pick up last week when the rate went to 1.52 and I quickly paid up. With the few interim payments I made when the rate was around 1.70 (why oh why did I not have the money to pay it all off then?!) the cruise works out around £100 more than if I'd have paid at booking, but around the same price as DCL direct factoring in the on board credit with the US travel agent. Ah well I suppose its the risk you take, it's still a damn sight cheaper than if we'd have booked now - it's gone up loads! Roll on 90 days out so I can look at booking Palo brunch and dinner...fingers crossed. I've also been busy experimenting with fish extender gifts. I now have my adult one sorted. I'm pretty sure all the other people in my group are from the US so not likely on the Dibb but just in case if you are in 18th May Dream Group 1 look away! Glass etched coasters... & DCLlogo etched cups... & filled with individually wrapped English teas. I plan on wrapping these in clear gift wrap and tying with union jack ribbon. I'm also going to tag with a phrase such as 'Happy cruising from your pals across the pond'. What do you think? I've also made a slight progression with my actual fish extender by making a start on Seb's pocket - a stormtrooper complete with mickey ears! I think I'm going to also put these on Tshirts for a few of the kids that have put down star wars as their favourite characters. There are a couple of girls and one boy, but I'm thinking the rhinestones may be a bit girly for boys, any thoughts? I'm hoping to do another pocket over the next week and promise to not leave it so long to update next time

Aw thank you.
The coasters are from Ikea, although I think they are supposed to be candle plates and I etched them myself Do you have any thoughts what you might be doing for your FE gifts?
