Hello! I've just read your report and it all sounds incredible! All the ADRs are great, a lot of them are on my list too, I'm so glad you have managed to get the ones you want.
Also your cat is so cute! That bow tie is amazing! We have a BSH too and will have to leave her for 3 weeks in May when we go to California, I'm dreading it! Hope you get the rest of the ADRs, looking forward to reading more updates 😊 |

Final ADRs!
Final ADRs!
You may be glad to hear that it is a slightly shorter update today! As we are onsite at Disney for 19 days, we have already booked the first 10 days of our ADRs at 180 days out (and we managed to get all of the ones that we wanted in these 10 days – yippee! ), but we then had to wait to book the additional 9 days of restaurants daily at 6 months out. This was a bit of a faff, as most of the reservations needed to be booked on week days and we both work full time, so we struggled to be ready and raring at a phone at 12am (online booking system was still not working properly for +10). And as much as I would love to leave one of my classes for 10 minutes to book the all-important reservations, I don’t think that my head teacher would be too happy about the prospect! Nathan has been brilliant though and pretty much done all of them. He has become a bit of a regular with the early shift CMs, as a couple of them have recognised him and have had chats about their holidays with him! The delay in making bookings though, also meant that the control freak / OCD planner side of me was also pushed to the limits, as I couldn’t settle until everything was sorted and I had all of my plans confirmed. The 180+10 bonus of staying onsite was definitely a bonus for us; I truly don’t think I could have coped with this for just under three weeks! My pretty MDE home screen, ready and waiting for our Disney escapades! We also managed to do pretty well with the rest of our restaurant choices. We had a few small problems though; one of them was with The Brown Derby and the Fantasmic package, as by the time that Nathan called at 12:40 the earliest lunch time slot that was available was 3:30pm! I was hoping for one around 12:00, but I guess we will just have to have a big breakfast to tide us over in the morning until our late lunch. There was also an issue with Tony’s, as the CMs couldn’t book any dates in August and they were not sure why. They thought that it might be due for a refurb before the summer, so they were being cautious and waiting to release the dates in case that overruns or that there might be some event on that they hadn’t not been told about. The August dates were finally released a couple of days ago, so we managed to get one for 7:30pm and will hopefully be able to sit out on the porch to watch the parade whilst eating din dins (although the CM must have known this, as she made a point of telling Nathan that there are no guarantees on where you’ll be sat!). HOB also needs booking, but as this is not owned by Disney they do not release the dates as early. I have just read that back and it sounds like we actually had a lot of problems… we did manage to get most of them though! This is the rest of our ADRs: Monday 10th August – 12:00pm – Yak & Yeti Tuesday 11th August – 7:00pm – Sanaa Wednesday 12th August – 3:30pm – Brown Derby Thursday 13th August – 1:50pm – Beaches & Cream Thursday 13th August – 6:15pm – Hoop-De-Doo Musical Review Sunday 16th August – 7:30 - Tony’s Monday 17th August – 1:00pm - Chefs de France Tuesday 18th August – 12:30pm - Le Cellier I’m really happy with all of our choices, I think we have a good balance of cuisines and characters. I only need to wait another 5 ˝ months now to get to eat all of the tasty food that I keep on looking at online! We also had some technical difficulties with all of the reservations showing up on our MDEs. Some of them were showing on the computer, but not showing on the app? I have made a note of all of the ADR numbers on our daily plans, so we can take these with us on the day, in case there are any problems when checking in. Disney have spent A LOT of money on the new technology and I would have thought by now that all of the teething problems would have been sorted – especially the ability to book +10 online?! …Sorry to be a moaning Minnie! Just TTDP left to book, fingers crossed that we manage to get one. None of the CMs on the phone can say when the July / August bookings will be available; most of them have said that they should be out by now and to keep on checking daily. I know that there is lots of summer Dibbers out there eagerly awaiting these dates, so the system may crash on the day that they are finally released as we all try and book at the same time! I am also holding out for a BOG lunch ADR, as it has now changed from a FP booking to a normal ADR as of 25th February. We will be well into our 180 days by then, so hopefully it will be fairly easy to book online. It sounds as if it will still remain as a CS credit, which is brilliant as we have now used up all of our TS ones and I really want to eat there twice to experience a couple of the different rooms and themes. Another picture of BOG, as it is so pretty! On a more positive note, seeing as today’s update could come across as a whinge fest! We have finally ordered our Universal tickets. We went for the two park, two week bonus tickets – so we can ride Hogwarts Express! We brought these from Orlando Attraction Tickets. They were Ł121 each, which is the cheapest we could find for actual tickets and I don’t think that it is too bad a price. Nathan is a happy chappy, as we have the option to visit more than twice now! They have not arrived yet, so here is a picture of what they will probably look like! I have also been making some holiday purchases, as I couldn’t resist these cute flip flops from Primark at only Ł2 each! I have too many, but at that price I can wear some in the build up to the holiday to help me get in the vacay spirit – that’s my excuse anyway! Ridiculously cute. I’m off to DLP on Sunday morning for our school trip and I am very excited to have a Disney fix before the summer! I will be spending the weekend packing and making sure that I have covered all the eventualities that could occur with over 40 teenage girls?! I’m going to use this as a pilot for my real trip report, so I will be taking plenty of notes to create a mini trip report to write-up when I get back for all of you guys! Sorry folks, it wasn’t as short as I originally thought…oops!

Ahh I saw the Bambi flip flops in Primark last week but held off on buying them as I didn't wear any of my Primark ones last year! We had a few issues with our ADR bookings too. The girl on the other end (her name was Fatima) was absolutely brilliant, but they weren't appearing on our Disney account. In the end we had to input them all manually, but she was so nice about being on the call for over an hour to check that we did actually have them xx

Glad you out got your ADRs sorted. I'm also having issues with them showing on MDE. Every time I refresh the app some appear and some disappear!
Those flip flops are gorgeous. I need the Mickey and Minnie ones in my life : |
