2 weeks of heaven... 10: Wet N Wild & Shopping
I must apologise first because I have absolutely no pictures of today! I thought I had some, but turns out I can’t find any. Hope you don’t get too bored!
Today’s plan was to head for Aquatica. We had our trolley passes that we had hardly used to headed straight for the stop, with it being gone 9.30 we expected the initial crowds to have gone. How wrong we were! We waited for what felt like forever, it was boiling, and more and more people joined. We saw 2 go past completely full that didn’t even stop and we thought “what is the point”. We both fancied a chilled day anyway so headed back to the room, grabbed our Wet n Wild tickets and walked up there instead! We were relieved we did this as it let us leave wet n wild leisurely rather than rushing about. We were pleasantly surprised by the rides we did go on (not many! ). We were feeling tired today so just went on the family rides that we could do together. Especially loved the disco ride! I’ve never been on anything like it- it was so much fun! When done, it was about lunchtime and we were peckish so just had a coke float to keep us going. We sat on a bench just inside the park having this and taking it in turns to go and get changed. Once done, we wandered out to the trolley stop and waited only for a few minutes before one showed up to take us to the outlets at Vineland Avenue. It was strange being on an empty trolley after seeing the state of them this morning! Once there we got our head around the map and headed straight for the food court. We both wanted burgers so went to A&W. I had a bacon and cheese burger and Lewis had a double bacon and cheese burger. These were average but hit the spot as all we’d had was the coke float so far. I won’t bore you with what I bought but most of it was bargain prices, we hadn’t set out to buy anything specific. I ended up buying loads with Lewis buying nothing but pants as he was running out! Shops we visited included Forever 21, Disney, Banana Republic, Gap, Vera Bradley. We also went in a shoe shop and a sweet shop! We were tired at around 7 (I could have easily lasted longer! ) so got the trolley back. We were those annoying people again running for the bus when it was about to leave! Luckily we made it. We dropped our bits at the hotel with me having a bit of a trying on session, then headed up to Buffalo Wild Wings which we had been planning on trying all holiday. For starter we shard a sampler (becoming a bit of a theme!) this included wings, pretzels, stuffed jalapenos which I left well alone, and pita chips which were lovely. I had a pulled pork burger which was a bit dry and I didn’t finish, and Lewis had a very spicy burger. We went straight back to the hotel after and slept. Bit of a boring day with no photos, these kind of days are always my favourite though! |

You really need these kinds of days to recharge the batteries. Shame your dinner wasn't too great, I have high hopes for Buffalo Wild Wings.
