I don't like Walmart very much either but this year I discovered my new fav place to shop Super Target on the 192. Loved it, don't know why I just liked it much more than Walmart x
We passed one but haven't had time to go!

Thanks! We took your advice about the kids puzzle at the Yachtsmans which the kids loved!

Artists Palette

After our day at DHS we couldn't be bothered to get anything to massive so it was off to the Artists Palette for dinner using quick service credits.

This time we sat down first and grabbed a menu so we could have a look properly.

Me and Den both went for the Buffalo Chicken panini with chips(crisps). I'm a big fan of buffalo wings so had I high hopes for this but I found it nasty. I just left a horrible after taste in my mouth. It wasn't a hot sauce either. Never mind.

Kelly had the turkey club wrap. She said it was ok. Nothing special.

Marian had the hot ham and cheese sandwich with chips(crisps) which said was nice.

Lily Belle had the kids Mac n cheese which she hardly touched and Evie had the kids turkey sandwich.

Sorry for the lack of deserts but we just grabbed fruit for the next day.

The Artists Palette has been ok but there hasn't been anything we'd rush back for. I don't mind the chips(crisps) but the others don't really like them and would prefer fries. We have breakfast later in the holiday which is better.

Oh no - the buffalo chicken panini sounded and looked really nice (right up my street) such a shame it tasted gross

Thanks for the supermarket shots, I always love seeing those.

I know. It sounded lovely. It wasn't! Nothing else I had was that bad though.

The Crystal Palace

This was out first visit here. The girls aren't particularly into Pooh(apart from saying the word repeatedly) but we thought this would be a good way to start at the Magic Kingdom with a reservation at 8.05am.

We were one of the first names called and were called in to an empty restaurant. First impressions were that it looked lovely.

Our server quickly gave us the lowdown and took drinks orders. She said we'd have time to go up to the buffet before any characters arrived. Again, buffets are hard to do so excuse the photos. They are a bit blurry. Not as good as I hoped.

The characters soon came out. To be honest it would have been better to have a bit longer to get settled before they came around and it was quite quick as it was still filling up inside.

First it was Eeyore followed by Pooh, Tigger and Piglet.

Lily seemed to get really nervous and started to stuff her face when they approached which was really funny to watch.

The girls were then brought individual birthday cupcakes and cards which a nice touch.

Overall a very nice meal. If I'm being honest, not my favourite character meal but still worthwhile. 6 c/s credits used.

Gastons Tavern

Le Fou's Brew

Me and Den both got one of these as snack credits. We could have paid more for the souvenir cup version but we decided against. I really like this. A frozen apple juice taste. I drank it to quickly and it gave me really bad brain freeze.
