Disney, Finally here we come and the Grandkid's still don't know Sshh- Sept 2014 Day 11 Busch Garden

Day 10 Chill day and Epcot

Day 11 Busch Gardens 22nd September

So everyone was all up early today as we had a bit of a drive today. We all had our breakfasts and were on the road by 8.20am and were heading for Busch Gardens.
The journey was pretty uneventful until near the end when Chloe decided to be sick, luckily it went on her chair and not all over the car. As soon as we got on the car park we cleaned it up as best we could and then headed for the park.
We took a walk around and noticed that some of the rides hadn't started up yet and this was because there was a storm due so all rides had stopped, however we found Sesame Street where the kids were able to have a few rides

after a while we heard the noise of the rides starting so starting walking around, Stacey and Ben went off and I started the slow walk around to Sherka and have to say I love this ride, the rest of them were a little behind us as they decided to watch the sesame show. When they arrived we tried to get the kids wet but they realised what was happening so it was only Aiden that got wet.

It was finally time for Sherka and Gary decided that he wanted to come on so Ben, Stacey, Gary and I went on, needless to say apart from Gary we all loved it as for Gary he just wanted to get off as soon as he could.
We then carried on around to the log flume which Steve surprised me again by coming on with me once off of there we headed off to Tidal wave, I liked this ride but getting to the best part of it was very boring however as it was so quiet the man let the kids stay on and they went around again. Have to say by now we were totally soaked.

Once everyone was off we started walking around to another water ride which was the rapids however the clouds had started coming over so we made our way over to see my favourite animal which is the Tigers while there we heard the rumbles of thunder then a few spots of rain then an announcement came over the tannoy to say all outdoor rides were now suspended so we decided to have something to eat, by this time the rain was really coming down but we managed to find a couple of tables and although they were outside they had umbrellas so we had to eat in the rain and have to say it was the best meal we have had in the parks.

Continued from above

Once everyone had finished we made our way around to Parnotha where the tower of fury was, and by the time we got there it was only raining so the rides were up and running which meant Ben and Stacey went on the Tower of fury which they enjoyed.

We then told them to go off and do their own thing and we would meet up again at Morocco at 5pm. We stayed and watched Motown after this we went on Scorpion then the kids went on some of the smaller rides. Louise, Hannah and I decided we wanted to go on the Phoenix, Gary started with us then changed his mind then as we were getting seated he changed his mind again and wanted to come on, as soon as we were seated and the ride began he then decided he wanted to get off so in one ear I was getting him crying I want to get off and in the other ear Louise and I had Hannah screaming as she was really enjoying the ride. When the ride finally stopped we let Gary get off.

Very soon we looked at the time and realised we should get a move on and meet Ben and Stacey.
When we finally found them they said that they had had a really good time but if they could they wanted to do a couple more rides. The first being Cheetah, they had already been on this but Ben knew what I was like on rides and said that I would love this one. Well he was right and I have to say this is now my favourite ride at the park it is just great the way it moves in and out of the trees as if it was a cheetah, anyway once off they decided they wanted to go on the worst ride of the park and that was the wooden ride, (cannot remember the name) well apart from the now comfortable cars that is all I can say was good about it. You get flung around so much and it kills your neck so much so 3 of us came off with really bad headaches (have heard that it has now been closed)
After we came off of that ride we went to meet the rest of them at the entrance and headed off out of the park and back to the beast. On our way back to the villa we stopped off at Burger King where we all had our fill and then headed off back to the villa. When we got in the kids went straight to bed but the rest of us stayed up and started to drink the alcohol that was in the fridge as we really needed to start empting it as soon it would be time to go home.
We all sat and watched the wrestling and then all went off to bed after a really great day despite the rain we really enjoyed Busch Gardens and all said that this was our favourite park this year.

Love the ponchos, very stylish! Pity about the rain but at least you didn't let it spoil your day.

Had so much rain during this holiday but it's not worth worrying about when it stops it soon dries up.
