Day 11 Busch Gardens

Day 12 Magic Kingdom and Shopping 23rd September

As we are now coming to the end of our holiday we decided it was a get up when you want day however we were all still up by 9am.
We watched the Alligator in the lake again







we then decided we would go to Magic kingdom one last time. Now before we left I said to Steve 'shall we put the poncho's in the bag' and his reply was 'no think we should be fine'. So we went off in brilliant sunshine and then made our way to the park however as soon as we went through bag search we felt a few drops of rain and then within a minute the heavens suddenly opened and everyone made their way to the arches just as you enter the park, well after a few minutes the water was lapping our feet but during this holiday we had really got used to having wet feet, anyway Ben, Stacey and the kids had their jackets so they went off but very soon Ben came back with some more poncho's for us, we put them on and started our walk around the park. This time we were going to go the opposite way around the park, as my knees were once again not good Steve and I decided we would go at a slower pace today so we told all the others to go and do what they wanted and we would meet them at Fantasyland later as we wanted to see the shake it parade. So off they went and have to say it was lovely walking slowly and not worrying about anyone else for a change, we watched the parade which we thought was okay but over too quickly, anyway we then decided to have a look at all the shops (you know the one's I mean, the one's that cost an arm and leg but they are lovely just to window shop and dream) lol.

Anyway when we came out we realised that the parade hadn't finished as it stops at the castle and all the characters get off the floats and dance with everyone,






we really enjoyed this and when the parade had finished we found a Photo pass member and asked if he would take some photo's of just the 2 of us.



Once we had finished we thought we had better go and find the others, it didn't take long to find them but then the heavens opened again, however the kids wanted to go on the test track so everyone apart from Steve, Stacey and I went on, Stacey was still suffering from a headache after the ride the day before,

Continued from above.

When they finally came off we made our way to Space mountain this time it was Steve, Stacey, Lorna and Chloe that waited outside, have to say I do like a bit of space mountain.



After this Steve and I wanted to go to the Carousel of progress I know but we both like this even if it is just for a sit down, anyway when we got there we found it was shut which we were a little disappointed about and after talking to one of the CM's they were not informed about this either and that it would be closed for a week, so no Carousel of progress this time.
As we were going to go and watch this the others decided they wanted to go on Buzz, so we were a little upset (I know we are sad) we sat and waited for the others to come back from the ride


as we were making our way to the castle we realised that another parade was on so while Steve, Stacey, Lorna and I went to watch this the others went on another ride. I took some photo's of what they were doing around the castle area so it will be interesting to see what they have done to it when we next go(if we ever go back).









We finally met up with the others and walked one last time down main street and into the shops so everyone could get their last bits from Disney and while in the Disney decided that it was sad that we were leaving as it began to rain again.
Slowly and feeling very sad we all said our final farewell to Disney







On our way home we yet again went into Wal-Mart and did a bit of clothes shopping then made our way back to the villa.
We put dinner on, now for the life of me I cannot remember what it was so I shall say if it's as it was anything that was in the fridge and freezer, we had another relaxing evening trying to empty the fridge and finish the beer and wine. We all sat and watched Forrest Gump then went off to bed.
