Thanks! We didn't see it anywhere this time. It must have gone from the menu. The mash was nice everywhere.

Thanks! I was a bit worried because of the reviews but it was really nice. I wouldn't go there for a romantic meal though

I'm devastated to be back. I'm hoping we get to go again.

It was such a nice meal, the chicken wasn't what I expected, much crunchier coating. Really nice!

Lottawatta Lodge@ Blizzard Beach

Sorry, I left my phone in the car as it was a water park day so photos. Pointless review really but here goes.

Just me, Kelly and the kids

I got the black diamond bacon cheeseburger with fries. I don't know what the diamond but was. It tasted like every Disney c/s burger. It was tasty though. Kelly and Evie had he grilled chicken sandwich which they said was nice. Lily had nuggets. We again got the kids adult c/s meals as the kids selection didn't appeal at all. For desert we got a cheesecake, 2 cookies and a chocolate cake. 4 c/s used. Sorry about the lack of photos. A one off.

50's Prime Time Cafe

This was one I was really looking forward to. I had this booked last time but cancelled after Marian and Den didn't like the antics at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. I decided to put back on the list for this year and so pleased we did. This place was awesome!

We just about checked in on time having rushed over from The Voyage Of a The Little Mermaid. It was very busy but we were shown to our table within a couple of minutes. Our server was called Nick and I think the "camp" from Camp Rock was named after him. He was great and advised us not to eat certain things saying they weren't very good! It was quite refreshing! He told us what was what in regards to drinks. We could have anything on the DDP including milk shakes as long it wasn't in a souvenir cup.

I had the Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake. This is without doubt the best milkshake I've ever had. It was amazing!

Kelly and Marian had strawberry, Evie had vanilla and Lily had chocolate. All great.

We had a portion of the onion rings to start with. They came with a horseradish dip. Really tasty.

The other five weren't very original with their choice of meals. They all Mom's Old Fashioned Pot Roast. They all loved it and said the meat was lovely. Again great mash!

Adult version

Kids version.

I went for Aunt Liz's Golden Fried Chicken which came with mash. I wouldn't usually go for chicken two nights in a row but I couldn't resist. This was again lovely. Totally different kind of chicken to the House Of Blues. It was like a good quality KFC. It was really tasty.

In between courses our server Nick ordered Den to make sure all the plates were stacked and waiting for him which he duly did! All good fun. He actually sat down with us one point for a chat!

For desert me and Den had Mom's Favourite Layered Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cake. This is without doubt the biggest piece of cake I've ever been served in my life. An elephant would have struggled. It was lovely but I barely made a dent in it.

Before

After

Kelly had the chocolate brownie sundae. I believe this used to be Dad's favourite chocolate brownie which no longer seemed to be on the menu. She liked this.

Marian had the strawberry ice cream sundae which she enjoyed.

The girls had fruit, which was melon. They both needed something like that and not anything with sugar!

Sorry blurred.

A fantastic meal and would be on the list to do again. On our way out I saw a middle aged woman being made to eat like a child. The server was saying "here comes the train, open up wide."!

We used 6 t/s credits.

We loved 50's Prime Time but my DD was poorly when we visited and only ate a caesar salad. You've got me wanting to re-visit now, I had a Boston Cream Pie... yum!

Spice Mill Burgers at Seaworld.

For food at Seaworld there were several choices including pizza and a bbq smokehouse but no one could agree (I'm being diplomatic here) so we thought we'd give Spice Mill Burgers a try. This located next to the Pearl Divers.

We just about managed to get in before the plague of locust school kids in green t-shirts who had swarmed in their masses throughout Seaworld. (To be honest we snuck past a good thirty of them in the queue while they weren't looking).

Me and Kelly had the double cheeseburgers which came with Tata tots which was a nice change from fries. The burger was really nice and the quality was excellent for a theme park c/s location.

Evie had kids nuggets and Tata tots which she enjoyed. She also like having the tots instead of fries.

Lily bell had a giant sub that contained different meats and cheeses. I'm not sure why she was allowed this by us as it was huge and she removed most of the meat from inside.(see top left corner of the first picture!)

Overall a nice place to eat but it was expensive. With some fruit and drinks it cost around $65! Thank god for the dining plan and we didn't have to fork out too often

Akershus

This was a venue we had visited before and we were looking forward to this one again. We had an adr for 8.05am and were one of the first ones inside. I'm not sure if I'd do it like this again as it's not much of an atmosphere inside.

We had our picture with Belle, who happened to be the same one from Enchanted Tales that we had done previously on the trip.

Our sever introduced herself, took drink orders etc. she struggled to understand anything I said for some reason.

First here there is a buffet selection which includes cereals, fruit, yoghurts, cold meats, cheeses, cakes and pastries and some Norwegian food which included fish and other unknown items.

We helped ourselves to the buffet.

After this then a breakfast platter served family style is brought to your table. This platter includes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links and breakfast potatoes. It was all really nice. I love the breakfast potatoes here.

We had no issues asking for more as its all you care to eat.

The girls were again given birthday cakes again before the princesses came round. They were Aurora, Ariel and a rather strange looking Snow White. I felt they rushed a little but to be honest my girls don't say a lot to them as they get nervous so that probably why.

The girls also took part in the princess procession through the restaurant.

It was a nice meal and we were out by 9am ready for Epcot. I'm not sure that we would do this again having done this twice now.

6 t/s credits used.

Loving the report so far! We did Akershus last year for the first time in ages and it was really only because I wanted the breakfast potatoes! Can't see us doing it again for a while.
