Oh those birds! We couldn't eat our food there as my daughter is scared stiff of them flying near her and obviously the birds love it there! We ended up taking our food back to our loungers!

Be Our Guest dinner

This was our first time here and we were looking forward to this. Evie said she'd like to go for her birthday so we saved this for today. This was the first ADR I made on my 180 mark.

It was incredibly busy outside but I noticed a CM with a tablet so we checked in with her rather the big queue As well as being busy it was also baking hot. There was water outside to drink if needed. Although busy we were called in within minutes. The CM taking us to the table acted as a kind of tour guide. We were led to our table situated in The Grand Ballroom. It was very impressive inside.

Our sever soon introduced himself and was he was excellent. We had a good look at the menu and opted for appetisers. Bread rolls were brought to the table as well.

For an appetiser Den had French onion soup which he said was nice.

Marian had potato and leek soup which she liked.

Me and Kelly had the assorted cured meats, sausages and cheeses to share. We both really enjoyed this but ended up giving far to much of it away to Evie!

Bit better!

For mains Den had Ratatouille which he really enjoyed.

Marian had the braised pork which she said was lovely.

I had grilled strip steak(medium rare) with French fries. I really enjoyed this. The steak was lovely and the fries were big fat ones which were great!

Kelly had the herb entrusted lamb which she enjoyed.

Lily had Chicken Brochette which she ate all up.

Evie had the kids grilled steak which she really enjoyed. Although both kids meals could have done with some fries or potato.

Once we eaten, the desert trolley was brought round and it all looked lovely.

I had the chocolate cream puff and that was really nice.

Evie and Kelly both had the Grey Stuff. Evie thought it tasted like cookies and cream, Kelly though it didn't taste of much at all!

Marian and Den both had the lemon meringue cup cake which they both said was nice.

Lily had the triple chocolate cup cake. Need I say more about it!

We really enjoyed this meal and were really pleased we went. We used 6 t/s credits for this and paid oop for the appetisers. After we had paid we then went into a side room and met Beast. It was a short 5 minute wait as he just returned from a break. While in the queue our server came and found me. He had charged the tip to the room by mistake and I had left cash so in effect I paid double. Thankfully he was very honest and apologetic and sorted it for me.

Lunch here to come as well later in the trip.

A fantastic meal and would be on the list to do again. On our way out I saw a middle aged woman being made to eat like a child. The server was saying "here comes the train, open up wide."!

We used 6 t/s credits.

Oh, that would be my idea of Hell. It sounds like some sort of fetish parlour.
Sorry, allergic to that. If the Whispering CAnyon is anything like that, it's back off my list.

Sorry to put a damper on that. We hated the Whispering a Canyon Cafe on our last trip!

They are good at reading you at prime time. We didn't have any antics but enjoyed the ambience and table with a tv . If the food appeals go but just let the waiter know you would prefer to watch not join in. Whispering canyon now has cards - one side for i'm up for it one for no antics.

My DD had fries with her kids steak at BOG. Maybe we asked? Glad your daughter had a good birthday meal.

Star Wars Galactic Breakfast

This was a meal I was really looking forward to as a massive Star Wars fan. My wallet wasn't I had booked this the day these meals were announced but as I had already booked all our other adrs and didn't want to cancel any I decided to pay oop for this. It would be 2 t/s credits if using the dining plan.

This was a Star Wars Weekend day so it was busy everywhere. We checked in about 10 minutes early. It was pretty busy outside with a small queue outside the door waiting for photos with Darth Vader and Bobo Fett. We joined the queue and I was more excited than the girls waiting to see Ana and Elsa. Once inside the door we had photos with them both. I got stage fright and didn't know what to say so just had a moronic smile on my face. Like meeting rock stars but better. Vader made menacing gestures to Lily. She got scared and refused to have her photo taken!

We were then shown to out table which was one of the cars. Star Wars clips were being shown on the big screen ahead and I could see Stormtroopers walking around. I was loving this!

Stormtroopers came round and I was ordered to stand up. I was then given the thumbs up about my T shirt. Lily still scared was given a fist bump by a Stormtrooper and she immediately cheered up.

Our server came by and took drink and food orders. Word of warning. It's pretty dark in the Sci Fi Diner so not easy to see what's what! I was sitting with Evie so I ordered for her. To start with they bought as some Star Wars related pastries which were really nice. We ate the lot!

We then had a choice of a fruit cup or yoghurt. We got one of each, both came with a Yoda melon head!

These were nice.

For our main breakfast there was a varied choice even some unusual things. See picture of menu up the top of this report I had Tantooine sunrise which consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage and breakfast potato. I asked for no eggs and got double breakfast potatoes. Bonus. Marian and Den had the same but with eggs.

Evie and Lily had Kenobi Cuisine which was basically the same as the adult breakfast we had. They both happily ate theirs all up.

Kelly had the Darth Vader waffle which she said was really nice. It looked cool as well!

We had Guido and Jawas come round as well for some photos during the meal as well more Stormtroopers. Sorry the other photos didn't come out great

I as the only Star Wars fan loved this breakfast. The others enjoyed it as well. The food was really nice. It was crazy expensive though. Nearly $300! Was it worth that? Probably not but I don't care! The only thing I'm gutted about is that we probably won't be going again in May so unlikely to do again.
