1900 Park Fare

We did this on our last trip and really enjoyed it so were keen to go again this time. I'm going to say straight away that this one was my least favourite character meal.

We drove to The Grand Floridian and again I had my Magic Band scanned to check my reservation. The hotel is amazing but dread to think how much it costs to stay here! We were fairly early but checked in anyway. The check in desk was very busy and I heard other people being told that there would be a bit of a wait. We were given a buzzer and told the same thing. We had our picture taken with the fastpass photographer first. Kelly decided to go off to the shops and look around. I said not to go to far. She got annoyed and said it would be a while. Two minutes later the buzzer went so I had to go find them.

We were shown to our table and just as arrived Prince Charming was coming by. He saw we just arrived and did a Princely sidestep round us. Our server introduced himself and took our drink orders. We then heard up to the buffet. There was a nice, wide and varied selection of food. Beef, chicken, sushi, shrimp, Guinness stew to name a few things. The kids station had pizza, nuggets, Mac and cheese etc but they could use the adult choices as well.

Once we returned to the table we were visited by Lady Tremaine. She was ok but not a patch on the one we had last time. The Ugly Step sisters were next but they were very rushed and seemed to want to move on very quickly.

The desert station was nice. Lost of little pastries and cakes so we all grabbed some. Some more than others

This was a nice selection.

The girls were also given birthday cakes to go with the dessert which was nice.

Prince Charming(creepy hair) and Cinderella came out and did a dance( Bolero based on Torvill and Dean. Ok not really). They eventually came round our table but only after we had paid the bill and again it was rushed.

The food was nice but character interaction was rushed and the whole meal felt like it as well. Wouldn't be on my list again. We used 6 t/s credits on the meal.

Wolfgang Puck and Earl of Sandwich Medley

We were back at DTD and we split into two for breakfast. Kelly and Lily went to Wolfgang Puck Express, while Me, Den and Evie went back to the Earl. Marian didn't eat.

We met back at WPE and ate outside there. Cheeky but the server at WPE didn't seem to care.

From Wolfgang Puck, Kelly had the Belgian Waffle which she said was lovely.

Lily had the classic breakfast which she really enjoyed. This was an adult meal.

From the Earl, Den had the same so see yesterday for a picture!

I had the Full Montague, beef, Turkey, Swiss and cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and mustard sauce. Lovely.

Evie got a sandwich that contained beef and nothing else. Loaded with beef.

Evie and I both had the bread pudding again. See yesterday but Den got the different chocolate cake.

Very nice.

The Smokehouse at DTD

Me and the girls had been in Disney Quest and after we had finished I gave Kelly a call to see if they wanted anything brought back to eat. Marian and Den said no but would she would like something. Opposite Disney Quest was The Smokehouse. A place I had my eye on since passing earlier in the trip. This is counter service location. We got these to go and ate in the room. Lily wasn't eating either. Not amazing photos, sorry.

I had the pulled chicken sandwich. It was really tasty. I loved the little pot of sauce it came with.

Kelly had the beef brisket sandwich which she enjoyed.

Both came with coleslaw. Fries would have been nice.

Evie the beef hot dog with potato chips. She liked this.

Desert was a choice of chocolate bars which was actually a welcome change.

This was 3 c/s credits. I liked this.

Mmm brisket! Never tried The Smokehouse but after seeing this in combination with a snickers bar, may just make it onto the list! ;-)

It's only a small place, it's just a big cabin with a couple of service windows. It looks like it part of the House Of a blues. I'd definitely eat there again.
