I will take lots of photos of the FE gifts to show you. I can't get over how nice it was of her to make and ship it over to us. We've got lots of goodies for her and we can't wait to say a big thank you in person!

I'm impressed with how easy the camera was to use, just need to figure out the night time settings for the all important fireworks!

Snacklist

This is going to be a humungous list, which I will probably not manage to try half of . It looks like it will also take a while to read, so you might want to make yourself comfortable before ploughing on!

Magic Kingdom Food

Nathan is super excited that these look like they are now considered snack credits?!

Magic Kingdom has the biggest list, as there are so many tasty places to eat and unique things to try. All of these will be new to us, except the Dole Whip and Mickey Ice Cream Bar, but it must break some kind of Dibb law to go all the way to WDW and not eat one of these?! I’m most looking forward to the new Beauty and the Beast themed food, but the ice cream sandwich and waffle look amazing (and huge) too. There are quite a few sweet things on the list, which is weird as I don’t have that much of a sweet tooth normally – I would always choose cheese over chocolate! I think most of these count as snack credits, so we should be able to get some on our DDP.

I lurve a good slushie!

We will probably try and devour all of these whilst attempting our eating AND drinking around the World Showcase mission. The only thing that we have tried before is a Karamell-Küche cookie, but there are so many other options to be eaten there that we haven’t yet sampled at this shop! Another slushie on the list, I really love them and I think that they will be nice and refreshing – plus this one includes bonus ice cream!

Animal Kingdom Food

Cheesy goodness… drool!

Not as many snacks to try here as there are in the other parks, but I think that’s because there are not as many ‘snacky’ places and we have some counter service and table service options already picked out. We wanted to try the pretzel on our last visit, but somehow forgot all about it when we were in the park! More slushies and frozen drinks... I can’t help it , they all looking really appetizing and AK have done a few seasonal ones in past years. The lobster mac’n’cheese was featured in the DFB recently and it looks sooo good!

Another yummy snack that all good Dibbers must consume whilst at WDW

Even more cakes have made the list! But have you seen them? How can I miss them off? These will both be newbies for us and we will probably have to share them, as they look enormous. The Frappucino is one off of the secret Starbucks list and I know that there are a few Starbucks around WDW now, but it will be nice to drink one of these whilst munching on a cake (sugar overload!) so it has made the MGM food list. As we will be there for the Frozen summer events there are also some special yummy treats available like Elsa cupcakes, Olaf marshmallow sticks and ‘Frozen’ cocktails that will also need sampling!

Downtown Disney Food

Visiting the food trucks at DTD is one of the things that Nathan is most excited about doing.

We will probably eat our way through this list on one of the evenings that we stroll over to DTD from our hotel. I am still unsure about the deep fried chocolate bars from Raglan Road, but this is one of the things that Nathan has requested makes the list – I just hope that they are not too greasy . I will probably create my own rice crispy treat from Goofy’s, so that I can add lots of bonus extras onto it! Nathan has become a little obsessed with the food trucks and keeps on looking at the changing menus; there are quite a few scrummy things to try – does anybody know if they accept the DDP?

There are quite a few things in the Simpson’s food court and at Diagon Alley that look really tempting, I may have to add a few other things to the list whilst I am out there. As I mentioned in my Universal plans update, I am most looking forward to all of the new Harry Potter treats and I am still undecided about which flavour Gilly Water I will try – I may just have to get a couple, it will be August after all and I wouldn’t want to get dehydrated!

That’s hopefully the full overview of food choices for now and I know that I have spoken about food a lot in this pre-trippie…sorry! Disney table service options, offsite eats, Universal options, snacks and finally the counter service favourites… phew! I do love my food, but I’ve never spent so much time researching and writing about it before . You’re all probably bored to death reading about what we are going to be eating for 28 days! Not to worry though, I’ll be back soon enough to entertain you with my holiday purchases, so at least it’s a different topic!

Great snack list! We absolutely loved the American Dream last time so we'll be definitely getting this again, it's how all slushies should be!

The cheese filled pretzel too is immense, need to be getting myself one of those again!

Loving the snack list! We added in the lobster mac and cheese and the pasta marinara to our list too since they were on the DFB! Our snack list is insane too though so I have no idea if we'll fit it in either hehe.

Your trip is so close! Not long till single digits now!

I've just had breakfast and I am now hungry again after reading that update! I've not tasted the carrot cake cookie yet, I can't wait!
