Despite our great efforts to stay up the night before, we were wide awake and raring to go at 6am

I won't bore you with breakfast each day - as its always going to be the same - cereals and fruit juice... we don't normally do breakfast as I have to be up for work at 5am, so don't change on holiday.

Our first day is always a Waterpark and this year we were to Aquatica, complete with Cabana and All Day Dining. It makes things so easy, we don't need to think about anything.



We settled into our Cabana, opened a couple of bottles of water (included in the price of the Cabana) and decided to head to our favourite Roa's Rapids first. If you have never been to Aquatica, Roa's is not so much a lazy river more a "Jillian Michael's Work Ou"t River



Once we had bobbed around for a bit, we headed back to the Cabana via the Banana Beach Cook-Out for a drink and a snack. We ask for Cabana's at Roa Rapids as its almost in the middle of the park.



We spent the rest of the day swapping between chilling in the Cabana (me), riding the rapids (both of us - but a lot of him), bobbing around Loggerhead Lane (a lazy lazy river) and having the odd snack at the cook out.



We had amazing weather and were ready to head back to the villa at just after 4pm. As you have towels, lockers and waters provided in the Cabana, we just wrapped up and decided to shower once we got back to the villa.

After a chill out in the villa, we decided to go out in search of food, as its our first night - there is only one choice - Sweet Tomatoes... at Crossroads.





We love Sweet Tomatoes (as you will see) and we look forward to our first meal there each holiday.

By now it was about 9pm, so we decided to forgo our usual game of first night golf and head home.

The cabana looks fab, definitely nice and relaxing

Yummy food at sweet tomatoes, it features on my to do list every year but we've yet to actually make it

I didn't know there was cabanas near Roa's Rapids; that would be perfect for us as I prefer to sit and read but OH will spend the entire day in the Rapids if he has this way. The cabanas are a bit of a bargain really!

I didn't think much of the food at the cookout but you have to have realistic expectations at an all day buffet haha.

There are two ends, the Beach End and the Cook-Out End, we find its a perfect base for our days

They are great value for money, we would recommend them to anyone
