Trust me, at this stage the pre holiday pamper is now a necessity

Are we there yet? July 2016 – Pre trip Report...

I thought I'd pop on and give a quick update as we only have 4 sleeps until pre-travel day to Dublin! I am mega excited and seem to have constant butterflies in my tummy.

The kids are also getting really excited, Liam was always happy to talk about the holiday with me but DH Nigel and eldest DS Joseph never seemed bothered, which annoyed the hell outta me! However the last week things have completely changed in our house and the two grumps have started getting really into it now. Joseph has started to ask loads of questions about the rides, shops and stuff. I suppose Nigel & Joseph are the type of people who don't see the point in getting excited about something until it's actually happening! (weirdos).

I've almost sorted all the packing out, I got all our clothes down from the attic and washed and ironed them. I've packed enough clothes for the four of us into one case for the first 5 nights at Disney so we won't have loads of cases opened everyday, which would be chaos in a studio room.
Here's some before and after pics...

Standard

I got these in Pennys (Irish Primark) for 6euro each, bargain, they're memory foam and all!

I selected numbers for our TSA locks on the cases and I also bought luggage straps from the pound shop with number locks on them. Although these aren't TSA so if security want in the case they'll probably cut these!

Looking forward to the game of tetris with these!

I've also divided all our money into daily amounts, to make budgeting easier. This will no doubt go out the window when I see the Premium Outlets and Sephora.

Okay so, that's me ready to rock. Thanks to everyone on here for all the invaluable advice and I'll see you on the flip side.

I'm doing a trip report but not a live one... that's too much commitment

Oh wow Marie I can't believe your countdown! So great that everyone is getting into the spirit now, so to speak I can imagine what the excitement levels are now!

So impressed with your packing, I can fold very good lol. I need to do similar with one of our cases as our first stop is Universal so will just have one case for that part of the stay.

Will be watching out for your pics on IG

Have an amazing time xx
