Eeeh how weird is that?! To think that we're flying out the same day this year and staying in the same resort too

Balance Paid and $$$!

Yesterday we paid the balance of our holiday We also purchased our dollars the morning of the EU referendum at $1.44. I'm so glad we did as, if we'd changed at today's rate, we would have almost $200 less. That could be a shiny new D&B or a Sephora spree for me!

I was a little bit nervous about paying the balance of our holiday as we were told last week that our house could be released for sale earlier than we thought (we were told end of August at the earliest when we put our earlybird reservation down), and I was terrified at the thought of having to pay for Florida and a house deposit within the space of a couple of weeks! We have just enough for both as it stands, but I'm praying they hold out until the end of July so we can save a couple of thousand more

I genuinely can't believe we're at 89 days until our holiday already. It has totally flown by and it's so exciting to think that this time in 3 months we'll be sunning it up in Disney World

Ohhhhhh it's coming round so quickly! Unfortunately we didn't change money in time and are now stuck with the stick or twist scenario... not sure what to do.

Fingers crossed the house waits a wee bitty longer for you

So exciting! Glad you got your dollars, we got a quite a bit for our wedding pre referendum which is good, but we're gonna have to suck up the plummeting exchange rate for the rest 😂. It's not going to stop me doing some serious damage in Sephora though!

Exciting stuff! I feel like my countdown is flying now and I feel so unprepared - especially holiday clothes wise

Yes! I'm super excited - I'm not a big wine fan but the food sounds amazing

Something New

Since we're only doing Disney World this trip, me and Lewis had toyed with the idea of doing something a bit different. We looked at booking La Nouba, but ultimately changed our minds. Then I found a Sea Screamer & Clearwater excursion on the FloridaTix website.

It's something completely different to anything we've done in Florida to date, and gives us the chance to explore another part of the state without having to hire a car. The cost was £90 for the two of us and includes transport to and from Orlando, a ride on the Sea Screamer to spot some dolphins and some relaxation time on the beach.

We've booked this for Friday 14th October, which was originally our rest day. We've cancelled off our Raglan Road reservation and think (if we're not knackered) we'll grab a quick service meal at Disney Springs when we get back.

I'm so excited to do this, I've always wanted to see dolphins in the wild! Only 68 days to go now
