We're going to be where?! At what time?! November 2013 - Magic Kingdom
Day 9 - Magic Kingdom
Today was our last park day full park day We slept in for a bit in the morning then went for breakfast at the market - Paul and I realised how big those burritos were and went halvies this morning! Our first issue with CSR buses - the bus to MK took an hour... it was crazy! One woman even picked up the emergency phone in the bus stop and complained - not that it did any good it still took another half an hour from when she made the call lol. One blip in 10 days I don't think is too bad going. When the bus eventually came, we were very cheeky and nipped on the bus and then it closed the door, and didn't let the moaning woman on! He swore black and blue that there was another just behind him... I never did find out if there was hehe! Anyway! We got to MK, and Paul wanted to try the Scorcers of the Magic Kingdom game - we knew zero about it! So we went to the shop at the end of main street, got our first packs of cards and had our training and we were off! We legged it all over the damn place but we had fun and we were trimphant in the end! We finished up near the liberty bell so went and finalised it with the cast members and got ourselves some more cards, woo! We started the second round but got distracted, well I got distracted by Starbucks... are you noticing a trend here?! We decided to grab some lunch as we'd been running around the park all morning, and decided that a flatbread from Pinocchios Village Haus was on the menu again! I snagged us a fast pass for Mickey at the Town Hall so we headed back to the beginning of Main Street and joined the queue, well no queue really, we were sent straight into the little room. Talking Mickey... The jury is still out on this one - I'm not sure I liked it and it was a little creepy if I'm honest! Awesome to see Mickey as always but I won't be rushing back to talking Mickey... sorry! (We did a lot of back and forthing today!) I really wanted to watch the parade and thought right at the beginning in Fronteirland would be a good place, so we legged it up there and watched from the gate where the parade enters the park Now it was time for ice cream - we'd not had ice cream properly this trip yet and that is a cardinal sin! We sat and people watched during ice cream consumption, i do love Disney icecream! Sarah wanted to play another game of Scorcers and was happy to leg it around the park by herself so off she went with a mass of cards in her hands. Paul was a bit chilly so we bought him a hoodie and on the way out ran into the dapper dans We had toyed with the idea of having the Dans at our wedding next year but it worked out way too expensive so it was nice to see them in MK at least It was time for some rides - got another Space and Big Thunder mountains under our belts - it was way too cold for splash! Time for Paul's favourite Philharmagic again, and when we came out we managed to find Sarah and ran into our friends Becky and Lee again. After a quick chat with them and the fact it was so bitterly cold outside we headed to new Fantasyland as we were having dinner at Be Our Guest tonight! We had a look in the Beauty and the Beast shop (i'm sure it's not called that but thats all they sell hehe) After a wander around the shop we were still early for our reservation so we went down to meet Ariel, well I met Ariel, the others just watched - party poopers! We'd killed enough time so headed back to BoG. Wow... just wow... this place is immense! Sorry photo overload again! |

Time for some food!
The new 'grey stuff' - I've never seen Sarah eat a dessert so quickly, she loved it! More pics from around the building After we settled the bill we went through to meet Beast on our way out Awesome meal, we loved it Sarah was only a few bits away from finishing the game for the second time so we said we'd wait for her on the bridge to Tomorrowland, and watched a bit of Wishes while we were waiting, but tried to beat the crowds out, so headed to the shops and met Sarah by the Scorcers building at the end of Main Street. She'd managed to finish it and hand it in so she had a whole bunch more cards to play with. Buses back home were uneventful, but now the fun began... we needed to pack. All the cases needed to be packed, labelled and waiting near the door in our room to be collected by bell services in the morning - it was time for the cruise baby! Next up - DHS and Boarding the Dream! |

Great day. BoG really looks amazing. I didn't know there was a shop, I managed to miss that this year.
So excited for the cruise part of your trip to start.
