Sea Dog Brewing Company, LBV

We decided to try this out as it had been recommended, was newly opened and hubby fancied trying the craft beer.

The beer sampler was extremely good value and so he got to try a fair few. I am told that the blueberry was his favourite

We shared some pretzel sticks, (I have 3 identical photos so perhaps we had 3 portions or perhaps hubby is trying to trick me with the photos) and for me the bread and dip was the best part of the meal

DD1 had the fish (mahi), it was OK, but the wrong thing to order when there are so many superior places to go in Orlando for fish

DH had the fish and chips with coleslaw, again simply OK

I had the fish tacos with onion rings, they were fine but I prefer guacamole to tiny chunks of avocado

Not sure whether DD2 had a meal or grazed on the 3 portions of pretzel rolls, my onion rings etc as there is no picture of her meal. Then again we often share 3 meals between 4 so it wouldnt surprise me if she grazed/shared.

We didnt have dessert here preferring to buy the tubs of coconut & pineapple Ben & Jerrys which were buy one get one free at Publix near the villa... the ice cream tasted of pina colada minus the rum, it is/was delicious

We can go on a visit to Celebration tomorrow, which is appropriate as I'll be doing a double digit dance so be sure to drop back soon

Market Street Cafe, Celebration

We absolutely love visiting Celebration and as we had a coupon from Valpark for 15% off we decided to go to Market Street Cafe. It has the feel of a real old fashioned diner, and is incredibly busy with locals on a Sunday.

We went for brunch, they do amazing chocolate malts

This is the eggs hollandaise (Norwegian style with smoked salmon) and breakfast potatoes. The eggs were not fantastic, not sure why, they tasted like they'd just come out of the microwave, but were oozy as they should be

Egg, fried potatoes and fruit

Toasted croissant: never had a croissant toasted before!

Porridge (oatmeal) raisins, cream and brown sugar

A decent breakfast/brunch, reasonably good value, we then spent an hour or so wandering around the lake and looking at the fruit market.

Ruth. I'm sorry but the Celebration breakfast looks revolting.

Eggs not poached but cooked in a mould, a fried egg beyond description and a burnt croissant.

I know you understand food so why apologise for something not worth paying for?

Welcome Barry The food tasted fine, although I agree with you that the presentation was lacking.
