GF looks lovely! Am really tempted to add this to our list, too many restaurants - not enough days! Might have to swap something... It was originally on the list but kona won out for their lunch menu...

Might need a rethink ;-) or ill just do one oop!

Hehe, OOL indeed, the fondue is like melted Terry's chocolate orange and you get fruit and marshmallows to dip in it, seriously oolworthy

Kona is really very good too, so I understand how difficult the decision is. If funds permit, do both And how exciting, we loved our cruise with Disney, they upgraded us for our 15th wedding anniversary so be sure to let them know well in advance if you're celebrating something special

Funny you should say that, Amanda, but we did GFC before MNSSHP...I'd recommend GFC for a lateish leisurely lunch at say 1.30pm, then catch MVMCP from 4pm when the wristbands are given out so you really get your money's worth: remember you do NOT need separate MK park tickets from 4pm on a show night when you have show tics

tasty looking moms
Awww thanks, yes we are all tasty looking mums

Bucca Di Beppo Florida Mall

Any of you out there with teenagers will know well that around this time any holiday to Orlando is peppered with numerous visits to Hot Topic in Florida mall, budget trip or not. Having bought mountains of stuff, we decided to visit Bucca Di Beppo which was running a really good coupon promotion of 2 meals for $20. It was alot of food for $40 and far far superior to fast food for a few $ more.

We had a selection of mozarella, ceasar salad and garlic bread to start:

And the main course was spahetti with sauce and salad, or flatbread/pizza (in this case tomato, mozarella and basil and aubergine, mushroom and broccoli)

Other solid choices at Florida Mall are Millers Ale House (on perimeter), California Pizza kitchen and Ruby Tuesdays.

Bonefish Grill opposite Formosa Gardens

This was our first time to this particular location and we found it disappointing compared to other locations. The service was slow and disinterested and the food not up to the usual high standard of Bonefish Grill. I cant remember now if we had a coupon on this occasion, but do remember thinking we paid quite a bit more for this meal than others that holiday and that the overall experience was not worth the extra.

Fish, tiny portion of garlic mash, and veggies

Dhs with tiny portion of rice

I was obviously trying to be healthy as mine was subbed with asparagus for the mash

Children's portion, with fries

I know we had drinks/cocktails but no photos...we obviously weren't feeling it at all at BG that night, such a shame as it normally is a restaurant that really delivers.

Cheesecake FactoryMall of Millenia

No trip to USA would be complete without a visit to the Cheesecake factory, and this one came at the end of our week budget trip last May. We have developed a habit of always visiting CF for our last meal as a late lunch before heading to the airport.

I think this is the tropical smoothie, although it might be an alcoholic variant

Cannot resist the bread, the pumpernickel? one is so unbelievably moreish

I love the salmon firecracker rolls which come with coleslaw and an Asian soy/spicy dressing: I've not found anything similar in either USA or UK so it is a "must order" dish for me.

We asked the kitchen to split a second portion between DD and myself, this is the half plate

Edamame

Lunch pasta dish

Lunch Miso Salmon, it is delicious but so different to the version at Yak & Yeti, I love both types

BBQ Salmon with garlic mash, onion rings and broccoli subbed for the corn succotash: a fabulous dish

Although this trip was only a week long with one day at Disney, it was fantastic. We loved Welshwiz's villa, it is spotlessly clean, a home from home. We felt as if we had been away for ages, so if you do get the chance to go for a short time, do take it, it's fab.

Let's go for a Concierge trip on the Disney Dream next...

I'm too excited for the cruise - they know it's our honeymoon for the whole shebang. Will be wearing badges too ;-)

Cheesecake factory food looks lovely and surprisingly a bit different as well! It may well be the only off site eat we do this year.

Can't wait for cruise food. More please! Xx
