That dessert in Columbia harbour house looks great.
We were not impressed by ohana either, I liked the food but the service wasn't great. Fab food report. |

Lotus Blossom Cafe @ Epcot
This is another must do for us and surprisingly this time, we only ate here once, it's normally a couple of times per trip, as the orange chicken is the bomb! I think again it's really good value for a quick service. Service is second to none too, not like a lot of counter services where you seem to wait ages from ordering until you get your food at the pickup area. Now no surprises here... we both had the orange chicken , to be honest I've never eaten anything else here, apart from the apps (spring roll or pot stickers). I don't even pretend to look at the menu...it's orange chicken all the way! For dessert I had the caramel ginger ice cream, which I really love (I like ginger and it has a strong ginger flavour...yum). Hubby had the lychee ice cream (which appears to have replaced the strawberry bean that I'm sure used to be the other flavour) he said it was just ok, the old strawberry was better (he doesn't like ginger, so this is the only other option). Awesome Orange Chicken & Caramel Ginger Ice Cream

The Turf Club @ Saratoga Springs Resort
We decided as we were staying at SSR we really should check out the restaurant here. Our ADR was for 5.45pm. You get the choice of being seated inside or out, we'd been in the heat all day, so chose inside. Our server for tonight was Ron and he was a very nice fellow. I had the Grilled NY Strip that came with asparagus, mash and a lobster fondue. This hands down was the best steak of the holiday (and I sampled a few ). I've not read many reports about the Turf Club before but oh my, this was tasty. The steak was cooked to perfection & the mash & lobster cheesy fondue was really lovely with it & the asparagus was nice dunked in the fondue too. I always find asparagus a very overrated veggie, I like my veg & don't get me wrong it's nice, but I think there are nicer veggies out there (rant over ha ha)! Hubby had the Turf Club Pasta (Fettucine with Shrimp, Garlic, and fresh Vegetables (more asparagus ) tossed in a spicy Italian Herb-infused Olive Oil), which he really enjoyed, he said it was a sensible portion (i.e. not the bucket load you get in some US restaurants ) and he really enjoyed the flavours. Bread Roll & Maple Butter NY Strip with Asparagus, Mashed Potatoes, and Lobster Fondue Turf Club Pasta - Fettucine with Shrimp, Garlic, and fresh Vegetables tossed in a spicy Italian Herb-infused Olive Oil For dessert I had the lemon curd with blueberries & whipped cream which was ok but just too much lemon curd (oh and I didn't get my ginger cookie that it was supposed to come with)! I expected it to be more like a cheesecake type of thing, but that's my fault, it was called Lemon Curd with Berries and that's exactly what it was ! Hubby had the Chocolate Espresso Torte which came with Raspberry Sauce and Vanilla-Port Wine Ice Cream, he really enjoyed this and he was tonight's dessert winner! Lemon Curd & Berries - fresh Lemon Curd with Whipped Cream, Blueberries, and (invisible ) Ginger Snap Cookie Chocolate Espresso Torte with Raspberry Sauce and Vanilla-Port Wine Ice Cream I'd definitely return to the Turf Club though, I thought it was a nice atmosphere (quietish if you go early like we did, it was starting to get busy when we were leaving). The food was amazing too (ok I'd choose a different dessert next time though )

You will not be disappointed, it's awesome the one at Asian Chau at the mall is good too. I've tried several times to recreate it at home without success and no Chinese over here does anything similar either

Great updates, we ate at the turf club in 2011 and really enjoyed it too, although I was a bit stressed as I was running my first ever half marathon later that evening lol. Must go back in less stressful circumstances.

Really enjoying the report! I like the look of Sanaa but just can't convince my sister. She's not a fan of Indian food.
