Chefs de France @ Epcot

I booked the adr here, as I'd heard great things about the Macaroni & as hubby is a great mac & cheese fan, I thought he should give it a try to see how it measured up. He was not disappointed, it was really rich and creamy.

I had the beef short ribs which came with tagliatelle, this was also really rich, in the red wine sauce, but worked really well with the pasta. The meat was so tender it just fell apart.

Macaroni baked with cream and Gruyère cheese

For dessert I had the Creme Brulee, which was nice & creamy with the lovely crunch, but just not a patch on the pistachio one I'd had at Tony's at Magic Kingdom.

Hubby had the profiteroles which are filled with ice cream, he said they were very nice.

Puff choux with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce (not sure if it's intentional or not, but the chocolate sauce on the plate kinda looks like a hidden mickey )

Flame Tree Barbecue/Pizzafari

Hubby fancied Pizza for lunch today but I'm not a big fan of pizza, so he headed off to Pizzafari to grab a pizza and I went to Flame Tree Barbecue for a pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw & fries (fries were a snack credit). We met back up at the tables behind flame tree barbecue to eat. We got a table close to the water and it's such a lovely view from here. Both meals were nice & tasty although I always find american coleslaw a bit strange as it's so sweet

For dessert I had the Key lime pie which was pretty meh! Just like Angel Delight with a lime Jelly & sugar lime slice on the top. I can't remember what hubby had, but I'm sure it was some other flavoured pudding cup as this seems to be pretty much the only choice for dessert at a lot of the AK QS restaurants.

Key Lime Schmoosh (sorry... pie )!

Kouzzina @ Boardwalk

For dinner tonight it was our last chance to eat at Kouzzina, as I believe it closes this year.

We've been before & always loved the food. Tonight we had Slow-cooked Lamb Shank with potatoes & Wood-grilled Steak
with Herb Salsa, Seasonal Vegetables, and Smoked Feta-Mashed Potatoes.

The Lamb is glorious it just falls off the bone. Hubby said his steak was nice although he wasn't to keen on the herb salsa as it was a bit overpowering for him. I had a taste and thought it was really nice.

For dessert I had the awesome baklava, it's so yum. Sticky, crunchy nutty goodness. Hubby had the Chocolate Budino Cake, which was also yummy.

Chocolate Budino Cake - Warm Molten Chocolate with Seasonal Sorbet

Overall an excellent meal , will be sad for it not to be here next time we go. Hopefully something just as good will be in it's place.
