Whispering Canyon Cafe
Whispering Canyon Cafe We started with breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe, which isn't quite as raucous as dinner, but there is still fun and games to be had. Again, you get the little card which you can flip to red if you don't want to get involved in the shenanigans. Our server had quite the loud voice - too much for me early in the morning! But all in all, we had a good breakfast here. We've now eaten at WCC for all three meals - breakfast, lunch, and dinner; so I think we can have a break from it for a while now! Them milkshakes though... you can have them for BREAKFAST y'all! And they're refillable too! When it comes to the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan for breakfast at a table service restaurant you are entitled to one entrée, and one non-alcoholic beverage per person (usually refillable) for one credit per person. Entrées… Me: All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Breakfast Platter - Scrambled Eggs, Western Home Fries, Bacon, Sausage, Waffles, Buttermilk Biscuits, and Sausage Gravy ($16.99) Him: All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Breakfast Platter - Scrambled Eggs, Western Home Fries, Bacon, Sausage, Waffles, Buttermilk Biscuits, and Sausage Gravy ($16.99) The Boy: Giant Mickey Waffle + Sausage - ($10.99)

Im really enjoying reading your food report, Im questioning my decision to not include any signatures next year, I might have to rethink my plans as California Grill looks so good.
We will be there next year around F&W time, it looks like a great way to use up those snack credits especially as we have 2 per person each day next year.

If you're on a dining plan, and can splurge on using two credits, then try and get at least one signature restaurant in. In our experience, they are worth the credits, and you get to spend on dishes you might think twice about if paying in cash.
And yes, F&W is a great place to use them snack credits up! We had so many left over even after 3 days at the festival, and buying other snacks during our holiday. We had a mass snack buying binge on our final day at Magic Kingdom just to use them up... character cookies for months!

Starbucks & Wetzel's Pretzels
Starbucks & Wetzel's Pretzels After our breakfast, we took a bus (don’t fall down in shock!) to Disney Springs. With the new road layout, and roadworks still going on, it just felt easier to catch one of the Disney buses! Steve and I grabbed a drink from Starbucks ($11.61), and Liam wanted a drink and a pretzel from Wetzel’s Pretzels ($7.22). We paid for these using snack credits, and sat down in a new seating area in front of a stage, where an all-girl choir were performing. I've really got myself mixed up this year with keeping track of snack spends and credits, but at this point on my spreadsheet were are as follows: **********************************
Running totals: $113.17 (24/84 credits) **********************************

Wolfgang Puck Express
Wolfgang Puck Express Shopping is hard work, so we decided to have lunch at Disney Springs. Since we were quite near to Wolfgang Puck Express, that was where we went! We've never eaten here before, so it was all new to us. It wasn't busy at all, so finding a table after we had ordered our food at the counter was very easy. Slightly more upmarket in feel than other counter service restaurants - they actually bring your food out to you - on proper ceramic plates, and real knives and forks, instead of the paper/plastic you usually get. When it comes to the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan at a counter service/quick-service restaurant you are entitled to one entrée, one dessert and one non-alcoholic beverage for one credit per person. I do not seem to have any details about this meal at all, so I'm having to take a guess at what we had! I normally take a photo of the receipt so that it jogs my memory, but not in this case it would seem. I must have had the receipt at some point, as the totals are on my spreadsheet... Entrées… Me: Pasta Dish - ($? ) Him: Sandwich - ($? ) The Boy: Pepperoni Pizza - ($? ) Desserts… Me: Cheesecake - ($? ) Him: Frozen Yoghurt - ($? ) The Boy: Fresh Fruit Cup - ($? )

Boma: Flavors of Africa
Boma: Flavors of Africa Dinner this evening was at Boma: Flavors of Africa, where we had breakfast a couple of days ago. We really do love this buffet restaurant because it has a good selection of different dishes - with African influences, but the night we visited was really sub par. I don't know if it was because we were full up from food from the day (quite likely) or if the place had gone down since our last visit. Such a shame, as we had been looking forward to this meal. When it comes to the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan at a buffet restaurant, you are entitled to one full buffet and one non-alcoholic beverage (usually refillable) for one credit per person. Since it's a buffet, I'm just grabbing info from the menu board outside the restaurant which tells you what may be on offer that evening. The buffet is said to feature over 75 unique mouthwatering selections... Carving Station Rotisserie Chicken, Curried Lamb Stew, Bobotie, African-Spiced Strip Loin, Pork Shoulder, Slow-Roasted Ribs, Nut-Crusted Salmon. Soups Ghanian Oxtail Stew, Mulligatawny, Seafood Gumbo, Curried Coconut Seafood Stew, Butternut Squash, Harira. Salads Orange Olive Salad with Shaved Fennel, Pasta Salad, Spinach Quinoa, Roasted Eggplant, Chickpea and Edamame Salad, Seafood Couscous, Watermelon and Tomato Salad. Desserts Assorted Cookies, Seasonal Cheese Cake Tarts, Zebra Domes, Bread Pudding, Kenyan Coffee Tarts, Cassava Cake, Panna Cotta.
