Hilton - Chicago
Short walk from the terminals (1&2 the closest) and we checked in. Left suitcases in room and walked back to terminal but soon discovered all the food options other than a Starbucks are beyond security. So we opted for snacks from the Hotel coffee shop. Pumba75 really enjoyed his roast beef and Swiss cheese roll. Our snacks filled the perfect gap. Cost $16. Mrs P Edited at 11:05 AM. |

Emsypops if you are reading this - the little pot is hummus and pretzels. Your influence is rubbing off on me. Thought you would be proud!

Once we arrived in Orlando we stopped to buy drinks, ready to drive to St Pete Beach for the first time. The taste of Florida! My family say it's like marmite. You love it or hate it. I'm in the love it group!

Should add have been having problems with wifi and getting photos to sync with devices. Apologies. Also forgot to add we had McDonalds for breakfast at Chicago airport. This came to $28.
Crabby Bills - St Pete Beach Time difference is catching up with me so hopefully the photos will speak for themselves. Food and service were excellent. Really enjoyed our time here and would love to return. The crab cakes were fresh and the best I have eaten and Pumba75 said he was in Keylime pie heaven! We felt we were just sitting amongst the locals rather than being in a tourist area. Great atmosphere, especially with the storm going on outside and the lights kept flickering off. Cost $86 plus tip. This included our drinks plus beer. Well worth it. Mrs P Edited at 10:40 PM. |

The 4 of us shared an appetiser - fried pickles!
Not something I would usually eat but really enjoyed them. Edited at 10:42 PM. |
