Wawa

We had to go to Wawa (*insert Mr P's funny voice!) to get gas/petrol and withdraw cash. On a side note - there are no service charges for using the ATM's here. As the girls had been telling Grandad about having breakfast here last holiday, decision was made to grab something quick.

Cheapest freestyle drink

Wreath donut

A quick snap shot just in case everyone dived in! 😜

Which they did. Honestly. The hot rolls didn't look very photogenic! Food tasted on par to McDonalds.

My toasted cinnamon raisin bagel

Helloooooooooo fruit!

Posner Park - Cinepolis Cinema

These were the snack options on display. Never seen food on plates at the cinema before.

We tucked into popcorn, nachos, hot dog, sweets and ice cream. The usual. They placed some items on a specialist tray to carry more easily. Never seen this before either but very handy.

Winter film cocktails

Prices were similar to the cinema food back home.

Wendy's

Burger and chips time. First time for me this holiday. Didn't disappoint. Juicy and hot and reminds me of a Wimpy burger.

Magic Kingdom - Starbucks

Today was the first time the temperature has dipped and we were in jeans and jumpers. In the park till late and we all fancied hot chocolate. The park was very busy, but not a problem as expected it, apart from waiting a long time for our drinks.

Festive options

Can't beat drinking hot chocolate on Main Street (was worth the wait) watching the fireworks and it "snowing". The atmosphere was magical.

Main Street Confectionary

My Mum finally got her apple. She really enjoyed this.

Shortbread & gingerbread

Seasonal treats

Perkins

On the way back to the condo we stopped off for very late night take away pie! It was sooooooo good. Naughty but nice!

Caramel apple pie. Family size. $12.99

Thank you. Oops! Sorry about that. Haha.
That's a shame about Perkins. How comes?
Happy new year to you too.

After our delicious and filling breakfast, we didn't need to eat again till dinner. As it was New Years Eve we didn't know how busy the restaurants were going to be so decided to have an earlyish dinner. We arrived just before 5pm and didn't have to wait for a table. Timed this well as shortly after the queues started.

Longhorns

On our last holiday, Longhorns was our favourite meal. Once again, it didn't disappoint. Excellent food and service.

Honey wheat bread

Sausage and cheese board - free starter with email offer

House salad

Caesar salad

Strawberry and pecan salad. This was massive and could've easily been a main meal in itself.

Renegade sirloin with parmesan crusted chicken

Renegade sirloin x2

Kids sirloin steak

Ribeye

Outlaw ribeye

Everything was delicious and the meat was cooked as requested.

We were so full, but the 6 of us decided to share the Chocolate Stampede. Really enjoyed this.

Brilliant quality and value all round. Cost approx $138 plus tip for all of us.

We then headed to Hollywood Studios for the evening to celebrate and welcome the New Year in. CM's were handing these hats out to everyone 😍

Backlot Express - Hollywood Studios

During the evening we stopped for a drink and sit down. Made use of the free refills to recharge and power through!

Had an excellent night. Was busy but not uncomfortable at all. We were expecting and had prepared ourselves for a lot worse. We were still able to get fast passes and meet characters with a minimal wait time.

Lovely food all round today and lots of happy memories made.

Food + Family + Disney = Perfect end to the year.
