Happy Birthday Lily!

Of course you tip... in America you tip even when you f@rt!

Never heard of Village Inn. Have you tried Golden Coral for breakfasts etc? So much more for your money and think the kids would like the chocolate fountain.

Glad people are still going to Sea World used to love it as a kid. Went with my wife for her first time just after they had stopped swimming with the killer whales and it was great went 2 years ago with our 18 month old and it was nothing like it could or had been in the past. It felt like it was going to shut any day it was odd.

May go again in a few years time. But enjoy your holiday, it's not you can't sleep it's cause your too excited to sleep lol

So pleased that Dine with Shamu was good and food looks good. Just paid for ours yesterday and ours is lunch when I thought it was dinner but as its our second seaworld day I thought we might go shopping later in the day so will work out better.
Hope you continue to have a fantastic holiday!

Thanks for all the further replies and birthday wishes for Lily. She and we had a lovely day.

Probably a few changes to the itinerary coming up. So expect a few differences from my list. I thought they may happen. May have some more up later today.

Wawa.

Odd choice this one but it turned out pretty good. After our big meal with Dine With Shamu no one bar me wanted to go out for dinner. We had been to Walgreens(walking from hotel) and I fancied something to eat so on our way back called into Wawa. This is a petrol station. It's in our hotel complex. Think Wild Bean Cafe at BP but much better. Annoyingly everyone decided they would eat. Could have gone somewhere else after all!

It was $4.99 for big hoggie sandwiches(think subway). It was ordered self service on a screen and then made fresh. Loads of choices and could all be customised. You then paid at the tills.

We got some fruit and some carrot, cucumber and dip for Lily. She ate the fruit but not much of the dipping items.

Evie got a BLT with extra cucumber. She had crisps as well that we bought at Walmart. She really enjoyed it.

Kelly had a tuna mayonnaise with sweet peppers and lettuce. She liked it but it was messy!

I had a meatball sub with extra onions. This was really good. Doesn't look like it in the picture but it was.

I also got an apple fritter and Evie a chocolate donut. Both nice. Wasn't expecting to go here but plans change and with a few drinks it cost $32 so can't complain.

Starbucks breakfast.

Nothing fancy. We have a Starbucks in our hotel complex so grabbed 4 sausage and cheddar sandwiches and 4 hot chocolates before heading off to Kennedy Space Centre.

.

Bloody expensive for what it was.

Orbit Cafe at Kennedy Space Centre

Pretty basic theme park food but was fine. Again self service ordering on a machine. Only had cash but the odd machine accepted it.

Didn't order Kids meals per se.

Lily had Mac and Cheese. She liked it.

Evie had the chicken tenders. She didn't really like them.

Kelly had the chicken tenders sandwich. It was ok. Nothing special.

I had the Buffalo chicken tenders sandwich. Again it was ok, nothing special.

$46.98 with drinks.

Longhorn Steakhouse IDRIVE

I have been wanting to go here for ages but with normally being on the ddp it never made sense.

We had about a 15 minute wait as it was fairly busy. Once our pager went off we were shown to a booth in the corner which was nice. The server quickly introduced himself and was very good thoughout the meal.

The girls ordered Banana and Strawberry Smoothies to drink.

Kelly changed the routine up a bit and had Strawberry Lemonade which she liked.

I had the usual Diet Coke.

We were given some Honey Wheat Bread

I joined the email club and had a coupon for a free appetiser so we chose the Prairie Onion. This was nice but with the bread we didn't want to fill up to much so didn't finish either.

Lily wasn't amazingly hungry so just had a loaded baked potato without the bacon and green onion. She enjoyed it but didn't finish.

Evie had the kids Sirloin with French fries. She really enjoyed this.

Kelly didn't want anything to heavy so had the odd sounding Chicken and Strawberry salad. It had many things including things like feta cheese and pecans. She loved it.

I had been wanting a decent steak so pushed the boat out and had the 18oz Outlaw Ribeye cooked medium rare. I chose a loaded jacket as my side and a Caesar salad. It was epic. Loved it. I love steak but I am by no means an expert but this was the nicest I've ever had. So good. I cleared the lot.

.

We all really enjoyed the whole meal. Would DEFINITELY return. Unlikely this trip but I hope to go again one day. $84 including tip.

So we are off to two universal hotels for the next 7 nights. Unlikely I will have time to do anything for a few days but I will see. My sleep pattern is awful the first few nights so that why I've done so much more of these than I planned. We are out and about and doing loads I promise! Everyone is asleep but I'm struggling. Hoping that corrects itself as well soon.
