Oh, Longhorns looks amazing. Like you, we're usually on the DDP and it doesn't make much sense to visit whilst on the plan. We'll do it one day! Living your report, can't wait to hear about universal. Enjoy

Thanks for the further replies. Lily had a great birthday. The apple fritter did look vile but was great. Yes, Evie has a birthday on the 22nd while we are at Disney.

No reports today. Too tired We are RPR which is lovely. We've been to Three Broomsticks, Florean Fortescue's, Honeydukes and Toothsome today so reports to come at some point.

Great report! Love the friend chicken at house of blues so much, hoping to get back there next year! Like the looo of kekes too, never heard of it till now!

And who doesn't love a WAWA! Their milkshakes & hot cookies were a staple diet for us last year 😂

Looking forward to more, wishing you a lovely holiday and happy birthday to your girls!

So wasn't going to do anymore for a bit but I'm wide awake at 4.10am!

The Three Broomsticks.

We checked in early at the lovely RPR Resort. I have pre bought the Universal Dining Plan for each of our 3 park days. No real saving but having it pre bought helps me plan our budget. This gives us 1 quick service meal including drink, 1 snack and 1 drink. Like I said I pre bought and exchanged the emails at the Attraction Tickets desk at RPR when we checked in. Unlike Disney though if you buy child meal plans then they can only stick to child meals.

We headed straight to Hogsmede at 8am and around 9.30am headed into The Three Broomsticks. It was around half full so only took a few minutes to order then be seated. You order and then go to a different to collect your food and then find a table.

The girls both had the pancake breakfast. This had 2 pancakes, 1 sausage, 1 bacon and a croissant. It comes with sachets of pancake syrup, jam and butter. For their drink both went for standard butterbeer. I didn't know you could have that included. Both liked the breakfast but not the butterbeer!

Kelly had the American Breakfast. This came with scrambled egg, potato, sausage, bacon and a croissant. She had tea with hers.

I had the Pancake Breakfast. Same as the girls but more of each item bar the croissant. I got mine with orange juice.

Absolutely fine. Probably expensive for what it is but Lily loved being in The Three Broomsticks so worth it for me.

We used our meal credits fo that day.

Honeydukes.

After The Three Broomsticks we had a look around in here.

We returned later in th day and the girls bought, Bertie Botts All Flavour Beans, Tounge Ton Toffee and a chocolate frog. Kelly got the peppermint frogs. Quite expensive but no surprise there!

Florian Fortescue Ice Cream Diagon Alley.

Kelly had the mint ice cream soft serve in a cone. She said this was nice.

The girls both went for soft serve butterbeer. I said cup as cone would be too messy. They still dropped most of it down themselves

We used 3 snack credits from our allocation.

Toothsome Chocolate Emporium

We headed here quite early at 4.15pm. I warned the girls it would be a little wait. It was an hour! We were told 45 minutes but ended up an hour. We people watched outside.

We did have a little look around the super expensive shop.

Each of those little chocolates was $2.99!

Eventually we got a text saying our table was ready. We were shown upstairs. We had a little wait before our server showed up. She was nice but very slow. There were quite big gaps between getting drinks and courses on this meal. She took our drink orders first as it would take awhile to peruse the huge menu.

It was nice to get a drink in real heavy glass after numerous plastic ones!

We decided to go for appetisers today. We had the Warm chocolate almond bread. This was nice. More cake than bread in my opinion.

Pork Belly Sliders – Caramelized onions, mustard aioli, arugula, chocolate dipped bacon, pretzel bun. These were really good. Girls didn't like them which was a bonus for me! The chocolate dipped bacon on the top was odd but nice.

Philly Cheesesteak Rolls – Cheese-steaks in a crispy wrapper, cherry pepper aioli. These again were very good. Lily enjoyed these. Think spring rolls but with Philly cheesesteak.

The girls had mini burgers with fries. They liked them. Like most places a limited child menu.

I had my first burger of the holiday. May Contain Bacon – Half pound house-made patty, bibb lettuce, smokey thick cut bacon, grilled pork belly, pineapple chutney, chipotle Jack cheese, pretzel bun. This was pretty good but not amazing.

Kelly had the Wild Mushroom Chicken Risotto – White truffle oil, parmesan crust. Picture doesn't make it look nice in my opinion but she really enjoyed this.

No room for desserts. (To be honest my wallet didn't object) Most expensive meal so far. $102 with tip.

Very nice food but slow. Two and a half hours from walking into get a table to leaving. We weren't in a rush so not an issue.

Bet you didn't expect to see a Toothsome report without the Milkshake photos! I was trying to avoid them as I knew the girls would want them. My dollars only go so far!

Wow, great updates! Longhorns looks amazing!

How are you finding RPR?

Shame about the long wait at Toothsome, but those Philly Cheesesteak Rolls are on my bucket list, I need them in my life!
