4 Rivers Smokehouse Kissimmee.

Really wanted to go to a BBQ joint.

This is an awkward one. I loved it but the kids and Kelly didn't so felt a bit guilty for dragging them here. Definitely one for meat lovers!

It was pretty quiet. We were there around 5pm.

It's cafeteria style. You order and food is placed on a tray and then you find a table. This is the outdoor seating area.

We ordered two things to share, the Pitmaster Combo. Four meats and two sides. We chose, brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork and pulled chicken. This came with a biscuit and two sides. We got Mac and cheese and fries. I enjoyed it all but while I liked them I don't get the fuss over burnt ends. The others thought it was all just ok.

In the photo above you can see two of the others sides we got on the other choice of ours. Those sides are the cheese grits. No one like these and sweet potato casserole. Evie enjoyed this.

The other thing we got and my main reason for going, the ribs. We got a full rack.

I thought these were great. The others weren't blown away.

So for me it was great and would recommend to BBQ fans but make sure all your party will enjoy.

Not cheap BBQ. $67.

Ahhh I hope you do manage to get to Cowfish. My husbands burger was the best burger he'd ever eaten (and he has eaten a lot!) he has mentioned it every day since we've been home
He had The Texas Longhorn twice, I had The Big Squeal and the Hoisin Burger. The big squeal was my favourite *drools*

Unfortunately I don't think we will make it to Yoders Beach day has gone out the window to spend more time at Universal.

Just catching up on your last couple of days... shame about aquatica, we were going to buy this bit at last minute decided we would just wing it and went to the market shop in there up near Roas Rapids ... so glad we did we bought a sandwich platter with 8 freshly made sandwiches and you got four bags of potato chips for $30, they did hot snacks in there too like fries, popcorn chicken etc... we had a cabana and got free water in the fridge so we just necked that lol. Hope you all enjoyed aquatica.
The smokehouse looks lovely... we love BBQ food so I think it would've been a hit with all of us 😀

That sounds a much better idea about the sandwich platter. Had a good day at Aquatica

Unfortunately the beach day and Man V Food Pilgrimage ain't happening We had too much to do at Universal. We've been not rushing around too much and really got the benefit of spreading things around. To be honest we are all a little pink and I dread to think what a beach day would have done!

Bumblebee Man Tacos.

One thing that is very clear. The kids choices on the Universal Dining plan are c**p! Joined the giant queue for The Simpsons food court. While in the queue I asked a cm who was directing the masses what kids could have as it's nowhere on the menu. It basically was 1 chicken item from Cletus or a kids pizza, nothing else. There were like 400 kids in coloured t-shirts ahead all waiting for pizza so we left.

We got Lily a taco from Bumblebee Man Taco truck as she was really hungry.

I had to use an adult credit. This came with mote toppings but she wanted it plain bar cheese and sour cream. Sour cream was extra

Panda Express Citywalk.

Once Lily had finished her tacos we left the park and went to Panda Express as we fancied something different. Our first try of Chinese in the U.S.

We all got the 2 entree 1 side meal.

Kelly got chow mein(side), orange chicken and black pepper chicken.

Evie got chow mein, orange chicken and a chicken egg roll.

I had chow mein, orange chicken and Beijing Chicken.

With drinks this was $36.85.

We all enjoyed this and was a welcome change. Would go again.
