Riverside Mill Breakfast

Our one and only breakfast at Riverside Mill. This is not in a bad way, just the way things turned out. We had a later start as we had Evie's choice of Typhoon Lagoon as it was her birthday. The food court was pretty busy in the morning and to be honest we went to the quickest moving queue.

Kelly and Evie had Mickey waffles. This came with bacon or sausage and a fruit thing( not sure the name)it was banana based. Both went with sausage and both enjoyed their breakfast.

Lily had the adults bounty platter, sausage bacon, breakfast potatoes, egg, Mickey Waffle and a biscuit.

I had the same sans eggs. I think the other loaded their bacon from their breakfasts onto mine.

This was ok. Not sure I'd like to buy oop.

We also swapped two of our drinks for snack credits. We got two fruit pots. We also got two bottles to take with us.

4 quick service credits used.

Leaning Palms Typhoon Lagoon.

I managed to remember my camera!

I don't think we've eaten anywhere else here. Always seem to be located close to where we are sitting so we always go. Same thing always happens. The girls get freaked out by the birds walking around while you eat!

Both girls had the chicken wrap. They both picked at it and didn't manage it all.

Me and Kelly shared ours. I had chicken tenders and a Kelly had the pulled pork burger. Both were nice. It was nice to mix and match them.

The girls fries which came with the wraps.

Did a job. 4 quick service credits used.

Great update, and interesting to see the breakfasts. I don't think they're worth it either. We're there in two days, was the Mill always a mad house or did you find quieter times?

It was busy quite a lot but it wasn't too bad. I found the queues for food in the parks far worse. There tills moved fairly quickly at Riverside Mill. We didn't go in there too often bar the first couple of days. Breakfast before the parks was busy and it was surprisingly busy late at night.

Next time I how to try somewhere else. Nothing wrong with Leaning Palms but I should make more effort to go elsewhere.

Liberty Tree Tavern.

This was a first for us. We heard lots of good reports about so thought we'd give it a try. I wanted something at the Magic Kingdom as this was where we're going to be for the evening for Evie's birthday after our day at Typhoon Lagoon.

We checked in about 15 minutes early and were called to our table dead on our adr time. It was pretty busy in the waiting area but I have heard this before.

Our server was soon with us and explained how it all worked and took our drink orders. She was very good throughout the meal.

For anyone that doesn't know this an all you can eat buffet served family style. I.e. Platters of food are brought your table. It's a set menu and you can ask for more of anything.

First rolls and salad were brought out which really nice and fresh.

Then the rest of the meal followed. It was mash potatoes.

Sweet corn.

Mac and cheese.

Then the main platter of meat. Pot roast, turkey, pork roast and herb stuffing.

This was all lovely and a welcome change from the other things we'd eaten. The pot roast was the most popular amongst us. We stuffed ourselves.

Once we'd had enough it was on to dessert. Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake. This was Vanilla Cake with Gooey Toffee Filling, Caramel Sauce, and Vanilla Ice Cream. Very nice but quite filling and rich.

Evie was given a birthday cake as well.

Overall an excellent meal that I'd recommend.

3 adult and 1 child t/s credit used.

MK Snacks.

These were from the Lunching Pad. Kelly and Lily had frozen raspberry slushies

I went for the Coke one.

Evie chose a rice crispy Mickey ears snack from POR at the end of the evening.

Great to see a good review of LTT. It's one of our favourites and recent reviews I've read haven't been great. Looking forward to eating here again this year.
