Cabin Bar Manchester
Cabin Bar Manchester
It was only 9 o'clock at this point so we decided to have a drink and wait for the gate to be announced. Chris went to the bar to order. He had a Newcastle brown and I asked for a vodka and cranberry. Most expensive vodka cranberry ever. I was like what have you ordered?! When he told me the total was £15 Turns out he ordered a double grey goose - that would be why then. Please excuse the fact that you are probably going to get in action photos featuring Chris. He's impatient and I'm struggling to keep his hands out of photos.

Virgin PE Plane Food
Virgin PE Plane Food
We were given a gate at 9:30 so headed over and were boarded after upper class. We had the little glasses of prosecco. Took off just before 10:40 and by 11:10 they were doing the drinks service. We both had a vodka orange - I only took a photo of mine. This came with the little bag of pretzels. Food was served just after 12:00. I had chilli and Chris had the chicken. We thought the food was quite good! And we really enjoyed the garlic spread that came with the bread! I thought that the salt and pepper pots were adorable! We then had a hot drink an hour or so later. Think I had a coffee as I was getting abit tired and I find it difficult to sleep on planes/in cars/anything not my bed. We had some soft drinks later on as well - no photos of these I'm afraid but chris had a coke and I had apple juice. We had afternoon tea about 5:30pm uk time. I found the little cakes abit sickly but I had abit of a headache by this point and wasn't feeling 100%. We both quite enjoyed the sandwiches though. All in all we were pretty happy with the food on the plane and the service was excellent. We landed near enough bang on time at 2:30 Orlando time. Immigration and customs was super quick and we were at the hotel just before 4pm. Edited at 10:12 AM. |

Walmart
Walmart
Went to Walmart to buy some water and snacks for the room. We went to the turkey lake rd one. Took a bit longer than expected as it was so huge. The checkout lady was super lovely - we had a really good chat. I couldn't believe how big the bags of 'chips' were! Chris also really wanted some twinkies. Despite the fact that the day before the holiday he was saying that he was going to try and stay away from too much sugar! I don't think that's going to last long somehow... Spent $35 which we were happy with as we've got some room snacks and things to eat for breakfast plus water to take to the parks.

Great start, did you take the salt and pepper home? Reason I ask is we asked to purchase them and told to take them, but to turn them over and read the message on them...
