We found it well worth doing. That and Tuskegee House were the best

Garden Grill breakfast looks so good! We have a dinner ADR for there this year. No-one except me likes Cinammon so the sticky bun would be out straight away if we went fro breakfast.

I am going to have to eat a cinnamon roll from Gastons Tavern all to myself

I got Le Frou's brew but didn't get round to a cinnamon roll from there. They are massive.

Earl Of Sandwich Disney Springs

Another visit to one of our favourites. This was due to be the day we were going to Volcano Bay, the day after opening, but after reading the horror stories of he first day we decided to give it a miss. I had already allocated all our ddp credits for others days as I didn't think we need them today so with the change of plan I'd be paying oop for this. Earl of Sandwich is quite a good one to do if paying oop.

Lily had the kids Grilled Cheese: Cheddar, Mozzarella and Swiss

Evie chose The Original 1762: Roasted Beef, Cheddar and Horseradish Sauce but without the horseradish.

Kelly went for the Tuna Melt: Albacore Tuna Salad, Swiss and mayonnaise

I went for The Full Montagu: Roasted Beef, Turkey, Swiss, Cheddar, Lettuce, Roma Tomato and Mustard Sauce

We all really enjoyed them as usual.

We also grabbed a jelly fruit pot and a cheesecake.

I think it was around $35 with drinks as well.

Ghiradelli Disney Springs.

I've been 4 times with Kelly and each time I say I want to get an ice cream but the queue puts me off. This year I finally did it! Me and Evie both had mint choc chip ice cream. It was really nice. This was a snack credit.

2 snack credits used.

Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano Hollywood Studios.

When we cancelled Le Cellier we had extra credits to use. We wanted to see the Star Wars Fireworks as well so this was the perfect choice after our cancelled day at Volcano Bay. I got an adr for 7pm the night before.

It was a fairly busy waiting area but we only waited 5 minutes. The lady taking us to our table could barely walk so it took a while to get there!

Our server was soon with us. He was fine throughout the meal. We weren't doing the Fantasmic package so it was just mains and dessert.

We brought out some lovely bread and olive oil to dip it in. Very nice.

Lily and Evie both went for Spaghetti with Meatballs and House-made Marinara Sauce. Both enjoyed it to start with but it lost its appeal after awhile.

I went for the Charred Strip Steak
Four-Cheese Macaroni with Pancetta, Aged Balsamic-Shallot Butter, and a Chianti Wine Reduction. This was really nice and I really enjoyed it.

Kelly had the Vegetable Lasagna. Layers of Grilled Vegetables and Spinach Ricotta topped with Mozzarella. She really enjoyed this as well.

For dessert the girls both went for Spaghetti & Meatball Cupcake, a Chocolate Cupcake with "Spaghetti" Frosting and a Chocolate "Meatball"' with a Strawberry "Marinara Sauce" and White Chocolate "Cheese". They both thought this was good. It looked cool.

Kelly and I both went for the
Traditional Cannoli, House-made creamy Cannoli Filling with a hint of Citrus and dusted with Cocoa Powder. We both thought that this was just ok, nothing special.

Overall we really enjoyed our meal. We would do again, especially the Fantasmic package if we were to do the ddp again.

2 adult t/s credits used, 1 child t/s credit used. I paid oop for Evie to free up another credit for later.

Great report, thanks for sharing

Just wanted to add to the comments a few days ago about the Landry's card and the 'manager coming to the table'. This is absolutely nothing to worry about, if anything it feels like you are being given special treatment. Lots of other tables sort of look over and give the 'how come they get that?' kind of look.

It's not a manager of the restaurant, more a Landry's representative... Basically they just come up, ask you if everything is OK and as expected and take your card so they can add your points and/or deduct any 'rewards' from your bill. The whole thing takes about 30 seconds. It is well worth it for the perks of being a Landry member, which if you happen to have a birthday in the month you are going () actually pays you to be a member!

Be Or Guest Breakfast

We had an adr time of 8.30am. Park hours had changed to open at 8am just before which was a bit annoying but never mind. We pre ordered our food on the MDE beforehand to save time. We didn't in 2015 for lunch and the queue was huge. Pre book is the way.

We went straight in and paid a cashier, using q/s credits not cash.

We selected a table in the Grand Ballroom. We did think intitially to try the West Wing but it was far to dark for Evie.

We selected drinks as it was self service to side of the ballroom. This was very busy so it was a bit of a hassle. Our food arrived pretty quick and I will say it was warm. I've heard many say their food was cold.

Kelly and Lily both went for Feast A La Gaston,
Scrambled Eggs, Herb-Roasted Potatoes, Apple Smoked Bacon, and Sausage. They both enjoyed it.

Me and Evie were both on health kick and went for the most unhealthy breakfast ever. The Croissant Doughnut, Fried Doughnut topped with Banana-Caramel Sauce, Pastry Crème, and Chocolate Ganache. I really enjoyed this. It did have fruit as well

A selection of pastries were brought out as well.

I really enjoyed this breakfast. It is busy and boisterous though. I never in a million years would pay oop for it though! Thank god for free dining.

4 q/s credits used.

Plaza Ice Creams.

Another place I always wanted to try. It was very busy though. It took a good 15-20 minutes to get our order. Worth it though

Kelly and Lily both had the All-American Sundae,
Old-fashioned Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream with Hot Fudge, Peanut Butter Drizzle, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry. Kelly enjoyed hers but Lily didn't like hers so much.

I had The "Plaza" Ice Cream Sundae. Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream, and a Cherry served in a freshly made Waffle Bowl with your choice of two hand-scoops of Ice Cream. I got mint choc chip and cookies and cream. Really good.

Evie went for Double-scooped Ice Cream Cone
With your choice of two flavors of Hand-scooped Ice Cream. She chose Strawberry and Vanilla. She was advised not to as it would be messy but she wouldn't have it. Of course we were correct and she needed a bowl!

Seating was hard to come by outside but my cat like stealth and reflexes grabbed one ahead of someone else fairly quickly.

Lovely use of snack credits.

4 snack credits used.
