Officially now put cowfish and kekes on my list 😋😋

We have a huge list of places we want to go but don't think we will manage them all.

Monday 12th - Kennedy Space Centre

We have been making our way through our room snacks for breakfast. Still have 3 sugar cookies left though

We had the lunch with an astronaut booked for 12pm.
The astronaut was Ken Cameron.

The lunch was a buffet and while there wasn't tons of choices everything was quite tasty.



The talk was really interesting, Chris loves all things space so he was in his element. He loved the whole day.

We left the buffet quite full, we had some jelly and cookies for desert but Ken started his presentation around the same time so didn't get chance to grab a photo.

The lunch kept us full until we got back to Orlando so we didn't spend anything extra during the day as we had taken our own drinks.

Hard Rock Cafe Drinks

After returning from Kennedy we freshened up and went to city walk at 8:30.

We wanted to try Toothsome and there was a 40 minute wait so we popped into the Hard Rock next door for a drink.

I had a banana berry colada.



It was like having an alcoholic smoothie, very yummy.

Chris had a beer called tropical torpedo.



I can't find the receipt for this - think it was around $16 as my drink was just over $10 after tax.

Toothsome Chocolate Emporium.

It was exactly 40 minutes when we got our text to return to Toothsome.

We were seated upstairs on what was like a gallery landing as we could see the floor below us.

I ordered a peach smash to drink.



Which was really nice. Very smooth and fruity.

Chris had a classic old fashioned.



Which he really liked. He often makes them at home.

We ordered chicken wings to start.



These had a chocolate stout glaze on. We think these were the best chicken wings so far.

For mains I had the carbonara and Chris had the May contain bacon burger.





Both were fantastic. Mine was super rich though so chris helped me out at the end.

We had another round of drinks with the mains - Chris ordered the revolutionary old fashioned which he preferred to the classic one. I ordered violettes dream.



This was gin based and tasted a lot stronger than the peach smash but I still enjoyed it.

For desert we ordered the Marshmallow Crisp Milkshake.

This was because I wanted a milkshake and chris was eyeing up the rice crispie sqaures through the viewing area where they make the deserts.



This was amazing, very thick. Basically tasted like drinking a marshmallow. We drank most of it walking back to the hotel.

Total bill was $110 and we left $130.

Wow, loving your report - lots of tasty things to try.

I think it was one of my favourite cocktails I've had so far.

Bambu

On Tuesday we went to volcano bay.
We had a great morning and just picked the closest place to us when we got hungry - which was Banbu.

Chris had a Reka Burger -
Pepper Jack Cheese, Bacon, Caramelized Onions, Topped with Pickles and BBQ Sauce, On a King's Hawaiian Roll, Served with Fries.



I think he likes this as he gobbled it up really quickly.

I had a Bambu Burger -
Double Cheeseburger, Fresh Slaw, Fried Onion Crisps, Avocado Mayo, On a King's Hawaiian Roll, Served with Fries.



I thought this was good - standard quick service Burger but it was done well and the avocado mayo was lovely!

We both had a Minute Maid lemonade to drink and the total was $36.81.
