We really enjoyed our lunch at hollywood and vine when we went... yep it's not gourmet but we arnt a gourmet family... we enjoyed what we ate and had plenty of it and weren't rushed but main reason we went was the character interaction it was fantastic, probably the best we had all holiday, love the picture of the girls with Minnie

I still think my peanut butter ice cream from Coldstone Creamery was the best though

I liked the Hoop De Do experience but not the food.

We have this booked, mainly for the kids. Looking at your pictures I am sure they will love it. Thanks x x

Goofy was really good here. I think it was slightly better for us at Garden Grille but it wasn't far off.

I was contemplating having the steak at Mama Melrose but you have now convinced me to. Can't wait for holiday anyway but your trippie and food report is really willing my countdown to move faster!

How long is the Pixar show, we have the Fantasmic/Pixar package and I am wondering if the 8 & 10 year olds in our party will appreciate it.

Really enjoying your report. I have to say I agree about H&V. We've eaten there loads, although not recently, and always found the food nice.

It was around about 45 minutes. I do hint a lot of kids will find it a bit much especially if it's really hot. Mine had enough by the end for sure.

Thanks for reading H&V can be a bit manic but we've always enjoyed it.

We didn't spend as much time as I thought we would at Disney Springs but we were here for a bit on Memorial Day so decided to get lunch here. It was D-Luxe Burger or Blaze Pizza as the choice and Burger won

It was fairly busy and we did have a small queue. It took about 10 minutes.

We grabbed a seat outside as there was plenty but this was undercover.

Lily had the kids Cheeseburger topped with Lettuce and Tomato. Hers came with fries unlike adult burgers. This was good.

Adult burgers are cooked differently depending on choice of burger. Kelly and Evie both had Barbecue Burger, Signature Blend Beef topped with a Fried Onion Ring, Smoked Gouda, Bacon, Barbecue Sauce, Grilled Onion and Lettuce. They both enjoyed but found it too big.

I had the El Diablo Burger, Chorizo and Signature Blend, Fried Banana Peppers, Pepper Jack, Lettuce, Tomato, Grilled Onion and Chipotle Mayonnaise. This was lovely. Not as spicy as I thought or hoped though. Cooked medium.

Fries don't come with the meal only drinks but we got two portions of fries as snack credits. This was more than enough to share. They were really good. We also got the selection of dipping sauces. They were garlic ranch, horseradish, chipotle mayo, 3 mustard and honey, Buffalo blue cheese and curry ketchup. Some were nicer than others.

I had to borrow the last photo I forgot take one of the sauces

Overall I really enjoyed this and would definitely return. The burgers are great for a q/s credit.

4 q/s credits used.

Flame Tree BBQ Animal Kingdom

This was a place I had always wanted to try. I'd seen numerous reports and always thought for a quick service location it looked great. For one reason or another we'd never had the opportunity to try but we were back at AK in the evening for Pandora so I finally got to try

This without exception was the worst meal I've had on this or any trip

It was very quiet but it took an age to get our food.

The girls and Kelly weren't in the mood for anything heavy so all three got the Watermelon Salad. Watermelon, Arugula, Feta, Pickled Red Onion with a White Balsamic Vinaigrette. Kelly liked it but the girls didn't.

I had only one thing in mind for me and went for Ribs, Chicken, and Pulled Pork Sampler
The ultimate Flame Tree Barbecue Platter features our three specialities: Smoked Ribs, Chicken and Pulled Pork with a helping of our House-made Baked Beans, refreshing Coleslaw and delicious Jalapeño Cornbread. The chicken was dry, tough and tasteless and felt like it had been under a hot lamp for 12 hours. The ribs were drier, tougher and more tasteless and felt like they had been under a hot lamp for 16 hours. The pulled pork with some BBQ sauce was ok. It was so disappointing.

I don't know if I caught the place on an off night but I definitely won't be going back here. I've been pretty lucky with the places we've eaten over the years so it was going to happen one day

re meal at Flame Tree BBQ Animal Kingdom

When we went to 50's Prime last year we had a similar experience. Both DW & my meals were awful and after seeing glowing food reports and a menu of food we would usually like it was a complete disappointment and have said we would not return to it again.
