World of Beer
World of Beer
We were going to the Orlando vs Montreal game so decided to head to Lake Eola around 3pm and have something to eat. We decided on world of beer - it was busy mainly with soccer fans but we sat outside on a high table. I had a white peach sangria. $6 Chris had a Funky Buddah Floridian. $5.50 We shared two appetizers instead of getting mains. Chicken Nachos ($11) and Chicken wings ($12) Lovely huge portion. I have a thing for nachos these did not disappoint. Chris had another beer at some point. Excellent value for money, lovely location by the lake and great atmosphere. Would recommend -especially if you are downtown for sports etc. |

Worlds most expensive round of drinks. Beer + Vodka Cranberry (double) = $26 Glad we only had the one round. On the upside my drink was super strong. |

Sunday 18th June - Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace Breakfast
We had a 9:40 reservation so watched the trolley show and took some photos by the hub before checking in. We ordered orange (me), chocolate milk (Chris) and coffee for drinks and then headed up to the buffet. I think we had 3/4 plates each We thought all the food was lovely - I really enjoyed the waffles and the kielbasa. Never look too appetizing on photos when it's all piled up. I think it took about 1 hr 20 mins for all the characters to come round. I had Winnie the Pooh themed ears on which all the characters loved. The bill was $68 + tip - not cheap but the food was great and the characters were so cute. The children doing the parade looked so happy I can see why it is popular with families. |
