The Pheasant Inn
Every time we fly from Heathrow we eat here. It was a 20minute walk from the Premier Inn. The pub is situated not far from Bath Road in the middle of a residential area. It's always very popular and the food is always excellent. Proper pub grub. Children are welcome but are not allowed in the bar area so we always sit outside under cover. They can choose from the main menu (which is large) and they adjust the portion size and price accordingly. I'm a creature of habit so chose scampi & chips again. Kids scampi & chips. Kids ham, eggs & chips. Mr P/Graeme said he always tries to have something different and will aim to add variety to this report! Unlike me. If you like porridge, blueberries, scampi/salmon/fish cake & chocolate then stick with me! Flame grilled lamb, stilton and cranberry burger. Photo doesn't do it justice. My dessert. Belgium chocolate box with caramel sauce & ice cream. Bread Pudding. Strawberries & cream. Girls shared. Delicious. Perfect start to the holiday. Tomorrow - SOOOO EXCITED! ✈️🇺🇸😎 Flights with American Airlines (BA codeshare) to Orlando via Miami. Then checking into Saratoga Springs. Will update as and when I can. Really excited for and for me (rather selfishly) that you/I can eat around Disney (at least virtually) for the next week or so! In all seriousness, this is very similar trip to the trip I'm contemplating in 2019 if we're brave enough to leave Orlando! Enjoy. Xx

Your comment really made me smile. Love the idea of a virtual stomach! Hope this report helps. We have ventured away from Orlando before and loved it. There is so much of Florida to see so would highly recommend it.

Quick up date from the airport before we board!
EAT - Heathrow I normally have an almond croissant at the airport as it always smells and tastes (& reminds me) of holidays. I couldn't decided between this and porridge. With an excited & nervous tummy I opted for both. The other 3 chose bacon rolls. The girls had a mango & lime and a summer berry blitz. Very refreshing. We had coffee and juice. See you on the other side of the pond! Mrs P
