Thanks for reading.
Thanks. Really well. Great flight, plane and crew. We were through immigration at Miami within 30minutes of landing. Thank you! Thank you! Haha. She was a tad excited. Yes we arrived safely thanks. Thank you very much. Mrs P

I've been awake since 3.15am, so thought I'd utilise the time wisely.
American Airlines I'm currently writing notes at 36000 feet! I'll post when I connect to wifi. For those flying with American Airlines soon or just interested in plane food, we have been pleasantly surprised with how good the food has been. We have had numerous hot and cold drinks served through out the flight. More than any other airline we have flown with. Particularly liked the on screen drink option to scroll through, so you could see all availability. Hot, cold and alcoholic. Simple pleasures hey. I still stuck with the same drinks I always have though! Main meals were a choice of pasta with mushroom or shepherds pie. Not the greatest photo but Mr P said the pasta was just "meh". I normally choose pasta on flights as I think it's simple and you can't go too far wrong, however I can't eat mushrooms. Girls said the shepherds pie was the best (airline!) food they had eaten. Not sure my cooking sets a very high bench mark, but agreed with them. Tasted better than it looked and was hot and edible. The cherry crumble pie was a hit. Would've been even nicer warm with a dollop of mascarpone on top! 😉 Ice cream time. Tasted like a mini milk in a tub. Air stewards offered the girls crisps & mini chocolate bars when they came out of the toilet! People could help themselves as they were placed in bowls by the galley area. Afternoon tea. Spinach & goats cheese folded pizza (tasted like a cheese & tomato toastie) and a vanilla and coconut sponge cake. Again, pleasantly surprised. Both warm with flavour. Great flight, plane and crew. Time seemed to go fairly quickly with the amount of times we were offered food and drink, which broke up the journey. Mrs P/Melissa

Miami airport
Whilst waiting for our connecting flight onto Orlando, we just grabbed a few things to share to sustain us for the next part of the journey. Lots of little shops scattered through the terminal to buy hot and cold food. Similar layout to other US airports we have connected through. Mr P and the girls went for a walk to stretch their legs and came back with a partly drunk iced caramel latte. And of my favourite things. Pretzel M&M's. Bless em. No grape Fanta anywhere but will rectify that at some point I'm sure. Mrs P/Melissa
