Saratoga Springs - Artist Palette.
First time staying here. After check in we collected our resort mugs from Artist Pallette. We decided to share 2 counter service meals. We asked if we could swap the drinks for sides instead. This wasn't a problem. Cheeseburger flat bread. This was really yummy and much bigger than expected. The taste reminded me of the Wimpy, especially the sauce. But we made such a mess trying to eat it! Beige overload. Chicken nuggets with home chips. We didn't need to order so much. We had the home chips boxed up to take away. We then used 4 snack credits for juice and strawberries for the morning. 4 very excited Pumba's! Let the Disney munching memories commence... 🍴😍 Mrs P/Melissa

Glad flights went OK. Nice to get plenty of drinks and snacks to pass the time! The flatbread looks nice. Happy holidays!

Ooh so glad you had a good immigration experience at Miami. I flew Heathrow to Miami a few weeks ago and it was horrendous. Took almost 2 hours and I nearly missed my connecting flight! I really liked Miami airport - so many food options!
That plane food really does look good. I did a very short connecting flight with American and thought the service was fab. Even though it was only a 30 minute flight we still got a full (complimentary) drinks service too. BA could learn a lot from them!

Sounds like a good flight. I've always stuck with VA but I'd definitely look at AA now!

Ooh - just caught up with this. We're at same Premier Inn and on same flight route on Sunday, so its fab to see your positive reports. Might have to check out that pub at Heathrow as we don't gave a firm plan for a meal that night. Will be following your Disney food updates too as we have QSDP.

The Wave
Breakfast was at The Wave which is located on the ground floor of The Contemporary. We have walked past numerous times to go to Chef Mickeys or California Grill but never ventured in. We had a 7.30am ADR and had the place to ourselves. I was very happy to see Mickey waffles. Best I've tasted. No idea why. Thought they would be cooked all the same? Maybe the dusting of sugar and mini jar of syrup made all the difference! Edited to add - I read on the Disney food blog that they use a different multi grain batter here, hence the different taste. The buffet was delicious. Always hard to take photos of buffets but this was my attempt. Hot food consisted of sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, hash brown casserole, cheese and bacon grits, eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy and oatmeal. Some of our plates. Just one more! We really enjoyed it here. Service (Susan) was great too. Brilliant use of a table service credit. Mrs P

Contempo Cafe - The Contemporary
Prior to our holiday we were researching snack credits. Previously never felt we made the most of these. We really fancied trying the Cherry Pie and the Peanut Butter Cupcakes. This is the only location that sells them but only the latter was available. We went prepared with our little cooler bag which we have in our rucksack, normally to store drinks. Cupcake stayed in there until we returned to Saratoga Springs and shared it as an afternoon snack. It was very rich, gooey and yummy. Mrs P
