The Lunching Pad - Magic Kingdom

Mr P is very happy that his favourite jalapeņo cheese pretzel is back again but under a new name = Pepper jack cheese pretzel. One snack credit.

As far as we know, you can only purchase these at the moment in Magic Kingdom at The Lunching Pad (Tomorrowland) and Typhoon Lagoon.

Main Street Bakery

Large double chocolatey chip frappuccino. One snack credit. Just for fun, Mr P/Graeme requested "his name". But they spelt it wrong. Ooops. How does a Disney employee not know how to spell Pumba?!

All drinks are a snack credit regardless of size, so makes sense to go large.

Water. Just to point out you can ask for a cup of iced water at any counter service. We did this today with no problems. It's been very hot and they had them all lined up ready to give out.

Spotted these.

The Turf Club - Saratoga Springs

Dinner was at The Turf Club.

We booked an ADR but there were plenty of empty tables. Warm bread and salted butter arrived soon after we were seated.

Prime Rib.

Salmon x2.

New York Strip Steak.

Chocolate Espresso Torte.

Bread Pudding with salted caramel sauce.

Cheesecake.

Strawberry Shortcake.

The food and service were superb. However, comparing it to Olivia's at OKW, I wasn't as keen on the setting with the very dark wood. Purely a personal opinion.

Edited to add - Forgot to say we were so impressed with our server (Jen) we went to guest services at Carriage House to put in a Cast compliment.

Those steaks look yummy. My DD would have loved the Strawberry shortcake.

I can't believe the cupcake lasted through the day, you did well to resist!

Ahhh. Mrs Pumba.
Firstly send my regards to your Husband. He and I PM each other occasionally

Glad you have settled in, the flight seemed good and I must say the food looked very good as well. The Turf Club. We eat there a lot during the year and the food is a lot better than in the early days. A new Chef started there late last year and he has made a big difference.
I note the prime rib isn't as big as it used to be
Enjoy your holiday and we do like this report. Keep up the good work!

Great to see a review of The Turf Club.

We have stayed at SSR a number of times but never ventured in. The place itself doesn't look spectacular but the food sure does look good.

As always, looking forward to more.
