It sounds like the perfect birthday. Yak and yeti does look delicious, we've only ever had snacks from the quick service window so I might have to add this to my list for TS.

Of course. Got it from a small kiosk called the Warung Outpost. Come out of Yak & Yeti and turn right. A little way down that path its situated on the right.

Satu'li Canteen - Pandora

We had a more leisurely morning after our day yesterday. We had drinks in our room and decided to get breakfast in Animal Kingdom.

We picked up a muffin and drink from Creature Comforts (also known as Starbucks as not everyone fancied breakfast in Pandora). Sorry no photo. It was heaving and queuing out of the door. Decided for me to go ahead to order breakfast from Satu'li canteen in the World of Avatar.



Just as I arrived at 10am they stopped breakfast and changed over to the main menu. Was a tad disappointed but was handed a menu whilst deciding what to do and sending whatsapp messages back and forth.



This is where you order and collect the food.



The cast members then did a little welcome ceremony for lunch. Lots of talking, cheering and clapping. Really sweet.

The food that was coming out looked really nice and different to the usual options, but I couldn't stomach a main meal at that time of day.

The only food that looked really appealing was the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mouse.

WOW! Delicious. Every mouthful was light and sweet. Could have eaten more. My favourite snack credit and worthy of 3 photos.







Also ordered a counter service Kids Teylu all beef hot dog in dough, served with chips (crisps) and a drink. They said it was really nice but the chips weren't particularly pleasant.

We came off Avatar Flight of Passage (amazing!) and the kiosk is situated to the left when you exit the shop.





Purchased the Night Blossom.
One snack credit.



Beautifully presented but unfortunately not that keen. It was ultra sweet and had a sour after taste. Glad we tried it but wouldn't have it again. The only thing we liked about it were the boba balls on top.

Novelty factor. Yes.
Makes a lovely colourful photo. Yes.

Wondering if it's going to be like marmite.

Edited to add. There has been discussion on here about the frozen jungle juice no longer being sold at the Mahindi kiosk. They have started selling it again but unfortunately the machine had broken today.

Artist's Palette - Saratoga Springs

Lobster sandwich & Flourless chocolate cake. Counter service.



Substituted the drink for a side as we had our refillable resort cups. Sandwich was fresh and filling. Really really enjoyed it. Cake is currently in the fridge in our room.

We are off for dinner tonight at Paradiso 37 in Disney Springs.

Edited to add Ate the flourless chocolate cake the day after and it was absolutely delicious. Enjoyed every mouthful. Rich and indulgent.
