We got a last minute reservation at Yak & Yeti after cancelling somewhere else and it turned out to be the best meal of the holiday!

Paradiso 37 - Disney Springs Last night we arrived for dinner via the boat from Saratoga Springs. Our table overlooked the water. Families were all situated here and adults in the bar area of the restaurant. I'll be totally honest, our plans changed last minute and we tried to change our ADR to the Magic Kingdom but there was no availability. We have loved being back in the Disney bubble and wanted to make the most of it, especially after the 4 park challenge and seeing the new Pandora - World of Avatar. This may not have helped our mind set. Food was ok. Nothing special and a little dry. It was so busy and noisy. So much so that our eldest daughter who wears a hearing aid took it out! We couldn't chat over dinner as we couldn't hear each other. It became comical by the end! P37 beer. Mr P said this went down well. He told me after. Baja fish tacos Chicken Caesar salad BBQ burger Roasted half chicken Chocolate Stack Churros Mini cones. But then came out without the cones. Not impressed at all by this point. Felt like we wasted a table service credit. There are far superior places on the DDP. Today is our last full Disney Day, before we move to St. Pete beach. We still have lots of counter services and snack credits left! Mrs P Edited at 03:47 PM. |

We had a terrible experience at P37 and would not return. Safe travels to the beach.

Mrs P. Well you are doing very well. That 4 Park day sounds like hard work but some nice experiences with the food.
I thought long and hard about Be our Guest with our Granddaughter and in the end decided not to. I think I've made the right decision. I did so like the look of some of your snacks at Epcot. Mmmm. Nice to see the old faithful lobster sandwich at SSR. My Wife and I sometimes share one of these. This has been very much an eye opener for us as we only ever eat a light lunch in the Parks and never ever have snacks. Not being mean but we go large on the evening meal! Enjoy your remaining time and have a good trip over to St Petes.

Lots of lovely birthday treats! We had an ADR at Yak and Yeti but cancelled it as we decided we didn't want full sit down meals and just had the QS but everytime I see a report from there I wish we'd gone - will definitely go next time!
Shame about Paradiso, I think I've read a similar review before. Enjoy the next part of your trip. |

Mr P here, we've just arrived back at SSR after a full final day at Disney - Mrs P will be along soon with all the photos!
It was a great meal - after reading so many good reports about it over the years, it was lovely to finally eat there ourselves. Glad you're enjoying it - thanks for reading. We are - sad to be leaving WDW tomorrow but looking forward to the next part of our holiday. Thanks so much, and thanks for reading. Thanks Tom - we've tried to make better use of our snack credits on this trip and it's fair to say there are some great snacks available if you look for them. We also tend to go large on th evening meal, but sharing counter service and using snack credits has enabled us to eat lightly at the other meal times. One of those things - it wasn't awful, but in comparison to some of the great meals we've had this week, it definitely stood out for the wrong reasons (although the P37 beer was very drinkable!) I would highly recommend Yak & Yeti. Thanks for reading.
