Twistee Treat - St Pete Beach 🍦

Another family favourite. This one seemed a little shabby outside compared to the Orlando ones, but ice cream tasted the same.



We stuck with our favourite chocolate ice cream & cookie dough pieces. The 4 of us shared a regular. We hadn't needed to eat anything since breakfast, this was just to tie us over till dinner.

I'm struggling to find the words to use... I suppose I just want to say, we love it here. It's very "us". Nothing fancy, just great food, located on the beach & live music. It's got a lovely laid back vibe, perfect for chilled out quality family time. Bliss.

Girls were very happy to return. This is where they wanted to come last night. They chose their favourite non alcoholic strawberry daiquiri.

Club Wrap. Half was eaten. This half was boxed up.

The girls played on the beach and took a stroll down to the waters edge whilst waiting for desserts to arrive. Key Lime Pie, White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake & Snickers Pie.



Life doesn't get much better than this.

IHOP - St Pete Beach

A firm family favourite.



Years ago we signed up to the email newsletter to get discounts. I've always been sent an offer for a free pancake for my birthday & other offers but you have to select and nominate a "home" branch and it expires within a week or two. You normally have to print it out too. Worth doing.



Today they were advertising kids eat free 4 till 10pm in the restaurant.

Anyway, the girls chose Nutella French Toast & Silver 5 from the kids menu.



I chose my usual favourite blueberry pancakes. Warm, light and fluffy as always.



Fruity Tooty Fresh n Fruity with strawberries. It looked more photogenic when it arrived at the table but was the last photo I took. Ooops.



I asked if it was possible to buy a mug as a souvenir. $2.99 well spent! Bargain compared to the Disney mugs we purchased.

You get a great breakfast in Mels Diner in Cape Coral and at the Boathouse on the beach at the yacht club is also good.

Wish we'd kept our Art Smith adr as the chicken looks amazing. Will know better next time. Totally agree about Yak and Yeti, first time us too and it was great.

So now planning on my head a non parks trip for next summer with a visit to bongos on the beach in my itinerary! Dh says we are going camping and redoing the bathroom next year😉
