Don't you want to go somewhere new? April 14th Epcot

Its been ages but am going to attempt to get this trip report finished so here goes with the next day.

This isn't going to be a very long post as I don't seem to have many notes on it.
Nice and hot this morning when we left 17 degrees much more like it.

Arrived at Epcot and parked in Amaze and walked in rather than taking the tram. I love walking towards Spaceship Earth and watching the monorail overhead. Security check was really quick and we were in and on our way to our first fast pass, Test Track.FP queue was out the door but moved fairly quickly and we were soon through to design our super car! We decided on a boys vs girls team cars and guess what, the girls won. See its not always speed and power that wins. My hair in the ride picture is awful though.

Had a mooch about afterwards playing on the different games then it was time for our Spaceship Earth FP. The standby queue was at huge and the FP one didn't look very short either. Think we waited about 15 minutes in the end. Ride stopped twice on the way round and even though we were able to make our video it wasn't there at the end which was a shame as DS and I had made sure we were actually looking at the camera this time.

Final FP was Mission Space. Now DH, DS and Mum had ridden this for the first time last year and had done green whilst myself, DD and Dad always go Orange, This year DS came on Orange and loved it! Mum and DH stayed green. Am gutted Gary Sinise is no longer the frontman for this, I really like him.

We disembarked our spaceship and made our way over to the land to check out the SB queue for Soarin, must have been our lucky day as it read 45 minutes, so even though mum and I had ridden it on our wine walk the others yet to do it, so we joined the queue and played some of the "lets wave our arms about and look like a wally games."
The time seemed to go really quickly and we were being briefed by Patrick. Row 1 again, result.

After our flight we needed food so opted for the Sunshine seasons- another new place for us- between us we had Mongolian beef, chicken and rice and a salmon dish. Was really yummy and would definitely eat here again.

We left the land and decided we were going to visit World showcase and join the Easter egg hunt. This was great fun and the kids loved it. I had clues as to where the eggs were hidden in each country but only told the kids when they were really stuck.

Whilst egg hunting and exploring the little shops Mum and I grabbed our last glasses of wine( left off our wine walk passports) in Germany. I had been checking for frozen FP all day with no luck when suddenly whilst enjoying my wine and checking my phone, a slot appeared I grabbed it. We had 2 hours to kill so hunted the last of the easter eggs, rode with Donald in Mexico and had some pics taken as well.

Just going to add in here how amazing the Flower and Garden festival Topiaries are and I have loads of pictures. below are a few of my favourites.

After collecting our prizes for finding all the easter eggs and DS having his picture with Pluto we made our way back to Norway. I had a sudden urge for cake at this point and decided to pop into the bakery in Norway. I had the most gorgeous cinnamon bun thing with chopped nuts and extra frosting. Finally it was Frozen time. Now I knew it would just be the old Norway ride but with Frozen theming and I'm glad we rode it but no way on earth will I ever queue for this if its over 15 minutes.

World showcase done we made our way to mouse gear. This is one of my fave park shops as I always seem to find something in here that I've not seen in the other shops. We had a good hunt and DS finally found something he wanted, a backpack for school (the picture at the end of this post shows it) DD bought a keyring the rest of us left emptyhanded

We called it a day then and made our way back stopping off at WAL-MART for snacks, corn dogs, rootbeer and lays. Then back to villa for a quick dip and a chilled evening.

The Easter Egg hunt looks so fun and Flower & Garden looks just beautiful, I’d love to see it someday, Bambi and Thumper look real!

The displays are fantastic and the pictures do it no justice what so ever. The egg hunt was great fun but I definitely recommend having some clues to hand. Some were really hard to spot x
