Don't you want to go somewhere new? April 15th Seaworld

I always love the first week of the holiday the most as it seems like forever til the end of the holiday, once the second week hits the days fly by far too quickly.

Morning Temp as we left 18 degrees.

So today we decide on a visit to SeaWorld. After our last visit we said we wouldn't visit again as we felt the park had really slipped, but as we had Discovery cove tickets we decided to spend a few hours here.

I4 was mega busy but moving and we made good time, arriving just after 10am. Headed over to Journey to Atlantis as this was one ride that had always been down whenever we had been before. As it was only myself and dad rode in the end. Queue was 10 minutes. Then had a go on Kraken as it was a walk on. only ones who stayed off were mum and DS, I do like this ride.
Had a look at show times and saw Pets Ahoy was about to start so popped in to watch. I love the animals in this but the show seemed as if it had been cut really short since the last time we watched.
We made our way to Shamus happy harbour and let the kids run through the play area bit whilst we grabbed some drinks Then off we went to Wild Artic. This was a lot jerkier than I remember and we laughed all the way through, DS loves simulator rides and would have happily ridden again. We stopped to look at the animals and took a picture of ds and dd in the ice cave. I have a collection of ice cave photos and compare how much they have grown in each one. I also used to do this with the singing in the rain umbrella at HS but that's gone now

Time for food we headed for the smokehouse, had a chicken and rib combo, hot dogs and chicken nuggets. Nothing great but filled the gap.

Back over the bridge for Shamu, again really disappointed, it just didn't have the WOW factor anymore. I love the Orcas and find them beautiful but just didn't feel it.

It was mega hot so we went into the Shark encounter to cool off then fed the Rays and Sharks before my dad and I queued for Mako. This ride did not disappoint! easily one of the smoothest rollercoasters I have ridden and brilliant views just before you went over the top.
We decided to head out at this point as Dad and Dh wanted to Hit DICKS sporting goods at Posner park on the way back to the villa.

Temp in car was a lovely 29 degrees and off we set to DICKS. Dad, DH and DS went there whilst mum and I strolled round the rest of Posner and browsed. Dad ended up with a fishing rod and DH spent most of the time telling DS he couldn't have a crossbow!

Another day over with we went back and had a darts/pool evening in the games room. I lost

A shame you didn't really enjoy your day, do you think you'll do Seaworld in future? I think unless you are really into thrill rides it's missable.

If we go again it won't be for a while now. I love thrill rides but would rather US or IOA. X
