DAY 7 So here we are, the dreaded last day! We both enjoyed the pastries from the Orchid Lounge so much last time that we decided to get some again today. They have a selection of pastries, muffins, fruits etc at the Orchid Lounge as well as some hot items like eggs, bacon, sausages, cinnamon buns etc I got us a couple of cherry danishes and we ate them in the room while watching a movie and packing etc These were as good as last time – they're definitely fresh! I also ate the leftover cheese curds from yesterday when in Florida, eh! Lunch @ Cowfish (City Walk) I spent the last morning back at the parks and had agreed to meet Lauren at Cowfish for our “last supper”. I had been there before and really enjoyed it and Lauren was looking forward to trying it for the first time. We were seated straight away upstairs and took quite a while to decide: would it be sushi or would it be a burger? I decided to go for the “Single Hunka Love” burger (Beef burger, creamy peanut butter, fried bananas, applewood bacon, brioche bun) – I like unusual flavour combinations and enjoy the “sweet and salty” mixtures so thought this could be interesting. It was really tasty, the peanut butter went perfectly with the banana and the saltiness of the bacon offset it really well. I really enjoyed this, but it was very rich so only managed about half. I'd definitely have it again though! Lauren had the “Shroomin' Swiss Burger” (Beef burger, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, roasted garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato, sesame seed bun) and subbed the fries for sweet potato fries instead. She also really enjoyed this and the sweet potato fries were really crispy as well Dinner @ Famous Famiglia Pizza (MCO) Orlando Airport was rammed and there were huge queues everywhere so we ended up at Famous Famiglia for pizza. Lauren went to get us some slices and when she (eventually) got to the counter to order after waiting ages they mentioned they were now out of most of the pizzas so we got whatever was left – off the top of my head I believe that was a slice of sausage & peppers, a slice of spinach & tomato and some garlic knots. This was OK – nothing spectacular but filled a hole. We both took some sleeping pills to try to sleep on the flight back - we didn't really manage but didn't have the food onboard this time so not sure what the options were or what it tasted like – sorry! And so we come to the end of the food report – it was definitely a week of great food and overindulgence! Highlight for us were: Keke's Breakfast Cafe – AMAZING! GO THERE! GO THERE NOW! Cheesecake Factory – never disappoints and I now have a new favourite cheesecake :thumbs up: Olive Garden – simple, no frills, tasty food at a great price NBC Sports Grill & Brew – best cheese curds ever! Thank you for reading along – I hope it has helped in some way! I always love reading food reports and have based some of my food choices on what I've seen If anyone has any questions I'm happy to help! Next up for me will be a solo trip over New Years – I've never been anywhere solo so am very nervous about it but also excited. I'm considering writing a trip report for it as there are often lot's of questions about solo trippies on thedibb so I guess watch this space!

That Elvis burger with banana and peanut butter sounds...odd to say the least. I've loved your cheese addiction and seeing all the pastries. Hmmm yummy.
I've really enjoyed reading your report. Such a shame it's over. Thank you for sharing.

Really enjoyed your report - thanks. We are having a week at Cabana Bay so I was interested to read about the places you ate at around City Walk and also at I Drive. Did you get a taxi to I Drive?

We used Uber all week to get around and it was very easy and super reasonable prices. I definitely recommend it!
