Loving the trip report. We have started slimming world too so we can plan to eat lots.
Looks like the after hours was definitely worth it too.

Thanks. Glad to hear you are enjoying it. I’m never sure what’s useful and what’s not as I love to go off on a wee non food tangent.

Thanks. Slimming world seems like a distant memory although we were all craving something a bit healthier last night. How are you getting on with it?

day 6

Luckily we had a late check out at AOA as ds slept till 10.30.

Headed to landscapes of flavour again, I really like the food court here, and got 3 pastry type things. $11. Sorry no photos again as we were also heading to the pool for a quick swim.

Checked out at 1 and left our bags at AOA and headed to Disney springs.

Bit of shopping at Sephora, complete with birthday gift for signing up with a holiday birthday, thanks ladydebs. Also uniqlo, great selection of Disney tops.

Ds wanted to go to t-Rex for lunch and as we had $25 on the Landry card it didn’t seem a bad idea. We showed the card and got a table a few minutes later despite there being a massive line. I had cardis at the ready but it wasn’t it’s normal freezing self.

We were in the ice cave bit so excuse the funny coloured pictures.

Ds had the kids popcorn shrimp. He loved it.

Dh had the tar pit shrimp, he loved it.

I had the Triassic trip as I have done every visit and it was great.

Ds was happy with his kids meal and picking off our plates. Our server was nice and the bill was ok for what we had,

We haven’t ever really had a bad meal in t-Rex so I’m sure ds and the $25 on the Landry card will drag us back.

After t-Rex we went to world of Disney which is still under refurb so way smaller than normal.

We also went to the Lego shop and ds bought an infinity war set. Just as a side note there was masses of adults hanging about with their phones. It was pretty annoying for those people trying to check out the Lego sets. It transpired it was a Pokemon go hotspot! Really who knew that was still a thing or it’s maybe just that the latest primary school craze is fortnite, don’t get me started on that!

Ds had a frapaccino from Starbucks. A serious strawberry. It was around 5 dollars. He liked it.

We headed back to AOA and ended up just getting the bus to Pop and walking across the bridge. I think it’s great both these resorts are so close to each other as you can use the buses and food courts for both. I wonder if the price will increase dramatically when the gondola system is finished.

Requested an uber back to the Rosen $13.

Settled on Bahama Breeze for tea so I reserved a table on their website and we were seated straight away. We were determined not to over order food this time but their menu is so appealing.

For drinks I had a coconut mojito ( well 2 to be exact) it was so good. Ds had a virgin pina colada and dh had a Samuel Adams.

We ordered the lobster and shrimp quesadillas, the calamari and the grilled chicken with tropical fruit salad to share. All the food was great but the salad was the standout. It was amazing.

We were not stuffed so we order the coconut cake to share. It was really good as well.

We had a lovely server and this was one of our more expensive dinners so far but well worth it.

day 7

Everybody was feeling a bit shattered this morning. We are definitely getting to that long lie stage of the holiday. We had some of these mini donut things while getting ready.

Grabbed an uber to SeaWorld $8 and arrived about 9.15. 2 walk on rides on Atlantis then off to Kraken which was showing 30 minute wait. They had 2 lines, one for vr and one without. Ds made it all the way on to the ride then changed his mind as we sat for a bit while all the vr headsets got checked. He got off and waited for us, I think he was a bit annoyed at himself but it’s his decision so maybe next time. That vr stuff fair adds a lot of waiting around. We opted for no vr.

We activated the mug again, this has been a great deal for us.

Grabbed a couple of snacks as we went. Pringles and cookies.

We saw the sea lion show, ds fed the sea lions, we did turtle trek and watched pop the bubble show which was really good.

We left about 2.30 and got the itrolley to Millers for a late lunch.

Ds had the kids mac and cheese. He liked it, I think it’s manky! But I don’t particularly like Mac and cheese anyway.

Dh had the full size fish and chips and ds had some. He also had an angry orchard.

I had the lunch buttermilk calamari salad, this was fab. I also had a blue moon mango beer which was really nice.

A good value lunch.

Couldn’t quite decide where to have dinner last night, too many choices and not enough time. We walked up towards the Orlando eye and settled on the yard house.
We had a 15 minute wait for a table. We grabbed drinks at the bar but we couldn’t stand there as we had ds. I always thought the rule was no kids at the bar but different places seem to have different rules as I heard them tell a family at Bahama Breeze the night before that it was fine.

Dh had a tangerine wheat beer and I had a pineapple cider. Both were nice enough.

We ordered 3 appetisers to share. The cheese curds and coconut shrimp were amazing and the classic sliders which were fine. It was more than enough food. Dh also had another beer, a funky Buddha pineapple which didn’t taste of pineapple and he didn’t like as much.

This place was massive and quite loud. Ds likes the food but not so much the place. Dh and I thought it was good. Although I did notice the beer I’d had at lunch was nearly $2 more expensive here than at millers.
