Universal today. We were not in a hurry so we had a wander and got photos with Popeye, bart and Lisa, the mystery machine, sideshow bob, Patrick and princess poppy. We also did the ET photos on the bikes and in the toy closet.
We rode ET, ds rose woody woodpecker, we watched animal actors, did the simpsons, men in Black twice, the mummy (ds decided not to ride at the last minute when we got front row) and the minions.
Ds had dippin dots $5

We went to Lombards for lunch, this was great.
We had strawberry milkshakes and frozen pina coladas.

Sour dough rolls with butter.

Ds and dh shared the cheese curds and the fisherman’s basket.

I had the Cesar salad with blackened salmon, this was outstanding. I’m quite fussy with my salmon so it’s high praise indeed.

What is this? Can’t work it out. 🤔

We headed to the club lounge and ds had a little pasta.

Dh and I had cheese and crackers, wine and a beer.

On our way out later we realised club level had the sweet things out so we nipped in and grabbed a couple of cookies. They had a fair selection of cookies and little what looked like lemon cheesecakes.

We headed to IOA where we just did marvel superhero island. Hulk in the dark for me was awesome.

Some more great food. We loved Voodoo Donuts in Portland so looking forward to trying them at Universal. I must admit, I'm tempted to stop reading your report, though. Every time I read more, I see another place which looks good. We haven't eaten at Lombards in years and remember really enjoying it - your food looked so good, I really want to eat there too now. We are only at Universal for 3 nights so limited time and there are so many places on my list.
