Have only done Ohana for breakfast so far. For the quality, quantity and variety of food it just couldn't compete with this. There must have been a dozen types of meat, I forgot to mention picanha, Brazilian sausage, Bacon wrapped fillet, garlic encrusted sirloin. Its 05:40 and I'm just about ready for another plate

Hehe, yes staying on our feet helped a lot. That said apart from the cheesecake it was mostly meat and vegetables so doubt it'll make the top 10 for unhealthy meals on the holiday

You know I didn't want to talk about the value because it was still expensive for a lunch but yes for what you get. The unlimited salad bar, sides and meat came to $90. DD's meal was half price - I'm sure they lost money on her. The portions they bring are so generous, fillet steak for example which was quality stuff they were serving pieces of about 4oz (and they will will offer you more than one piece!), there was something coming round every few minutes.

A nap would have been fatal with the day one jetlag which is why we stayed out! Thanks for reading Mexy/all.

Update I have two new readers, DD and DW have both now read the thread and are following. Luckily no offence caused so far to 'the genius' or 'teenage Groot' but I'll have to tread carefully

:)

Tried the kombucha again this morning and it's growing on me I can't quite bring myself to say it's nice but it is strangely satisfying now that I'm hungry

OMG - our household is half Chinese and I don't think we'd be going anywhere near this

you're in luck, it's dead close so shouldn't cost a lot in an uber at all

Hope you enjoy as much as we did

I've just finished it, started tasting good this morning I think it may be because I shook it yesterday and the bottle says not to. Do you happen to know what it is? Will I gain any powers from drinking it

Ummm - I believe it's fermented tea and is supposed to have (unproven health benefits) such as... "cure asthma, cataracts, diabetes, diarrhea, gout, herpes, insomnia and rheumatism. They are purported to shrink the prostate and expand the libido, reverse grey hair, remove wrinkles, relieve haemorrhoids, lower hypertension, prevent cancer, and promote general well-being"

So if you morph into an immortal super hero while you're out there, could you let the rest of us know and we can join your evil-busting club (in between working, running a household and dragging up sprogs )? Thanks!

Argh how have I missed this!?

I love your t-shirt and the idea of the challenge, I’m excited to see how you get on.

Hope you’re having a fab time!

The food in Club looks great, I think I’d order all those things if they were on a menu.

I didn’t think much of Chick-Fil-A’s burgers but the strips and the sauce are to die for!

Best food report ever & we're still only on day 1.
