Coca-Cola Rooftop Beverage Bar » Disney Springs
Coca-Cola Rooftop Beverage Bar » Disney Springs
On the third floor of the Coca-Cola Store is the Rooftop Beverage Bar where you can buy all manner of Coca-Cola products – so not only Coke itself but all the variations like Diet, Zero Sugar, Cherry, Vanilla; and other products like Sprite, and Fanta. You can buy the drinks from the soda fountain, and in various sized bottles and cans, as well as turn them into floats. We decided to order the Tastes of the World – Enjoy sixteen sparkling and still beverages from around the world; International Tray – $9.00. It looks like we bought a cup of drink to-go as well. I can’t remember what it was now though. I am sure the card that you can see in the photo told us what each one was – I do still have that card tucked away somewhere, so I will dig it out and update this post with what each one was! I know some were a lot nicer than others, and some were downright blergh!

Amorette’s Patisserie » Disney Springs
Amorette’s Patisserie » Disney Springs
Our final stop was Amorette’s Patisserie, as we wanted to see the Disney dome cakes that had been doing the rounds online (they’re $65 each! ) and of course maybe buy a cake or two for ourselves! I cannot remember exactly what we bought, but thanks to an online menu, I’m going to make educated guesses! The shop itself is quite small – I can’t remember if there are tables inside… I think there are. There are definitely tables outside, because that is where we sat! The patisserie were stunning and some looked almost too good to eat! Sunrise Tokyo Bay – Yuzu chiffon cake, green tea crumble, yuzu jam, and mandarin – $8.00 Viennese Waltz – Sacher torte: chocolate almond financier cake, apricot jam and chantilly – $8.00 Eclair – Pistachio (also available: lemon meringue, raspberry, or caramel coffee) – $6.00

Bahama Breeze, 8160 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy
Bahama Breeze, 8160 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy
For dinner we decided to go to our favourite offsite restaurant – Bahama Breeze. While in there the mother of all storms happened outside – we were so glad to not have been caught up in that! We dined at the Bahama Breeze on W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, and absolutely love it here. Bahama Breeze Us: Island Hopper Combo – A combination of Island favorites. Jamaican chicken wings, crispy coconut shrimp, onion rings and conch fritters. Served with citrus-mustard, jerk BBQ sauce and roasted pineapple chutney. ($19.99) We decided to share this platter of Bahama Breeze favourites – the coconut shrimp are one of my personal faves! And the Jamaican chicken wings are so good. Main Course... Me: Lobster & Shrimp Linguine – Tender shrimp and lobster tossed with fresh mushrooms in a lobster brandy cream sauce. ($20.99) + House Salad – Fresh greens, Roma tomatoes, cucumber ribbons and pumpkin seeds, drizzled with Island vinaigrette. ($2.99) Him: Shrimp & Mahi Bowl with Lemongrass Sauce – Sautéed Mahi Mahi, shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, bok choy, sugar snap peas, edamame and bell peppers in a zesty coconut lemongrass sauce served over white rice. ($14.99) We usually stick to the same dishes when we got to Bahama Breeze (they’re favourites after all!) and since we can only have them when we go to Orlando, I always order them! However, we both had something completely different from the menu this time around. My pasta dish was amazing, – the portion was huge and I remember taking the rest to-go. Steve enjoyed his bowl of seafood and veggies. We were too full for dessert so passed our favourites by! *********************************************** Bahama Breeze, 8160 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy Bill: $61.95 + Tax: $4.34 + Tip: $12.71 = $79 TiW Discount: $N/A _______________________________________________ Total paid: $79 ***********************************************

Pineapple Lanai » Polynesian Village Resort
Pineapple Lanai » Polynesian Village Resort Once back home at the Polynesian, we stopped at the Pineapple Lanai to buy a Dole Whip – a much beloved Disney snack! We actually had Dole Whip Floats which is soft serve pineapple or vanilla ice cream with pineapple juice – yummy! They cost just over $5 each.

Capt. Cook’s » Polynesian Village Resort
Capt. Cook’s » Polynesian Village Resort And finally, lunch and dinner was from Capt. Cook’s, the counter/quick service restaurant at the Poly. It is tucked away around the corner from the lobby in the Grand Ceremonial House. There is a line up area in front of the counters where you place your order – fast food style – and it is a bit of a pain as you can end up standing around as you wait for it. I don’t think it is laid out particularly well. There are a few big fridges with drinks, fruit, veggies, sandwiches, sushi, and cupcakes. You can also buy bags of potato chips (crisps), cookies, and other baked goods, and there is a counter with the drinks fountain for the refillable mugs. I’m going to just put all the food together in one batch. I can’t remember who had what now, but I know from what we ate from Capt. Cook’s in 2017 that the Pork Fried Rice is very tasty, and one of my favourites on the menu! I know that the cupcake would have been mine, and would have been delish! Disney do make a good cupcake!
