Day 18 - Wonderland Cookie Dough Company - Celebration

We stumbled across this little beauty whilst wondering around Celebration, this cute store has several flavours of edible cookie dough (eggs are removed but the taste remains the same) there were several yummy looking flavours but I decided to try the original chocolate chip flavour - just one scoop as I was still full from breakfast

The cookie dough was lovely, really rich though and I couldn’t have eaten more, the classic flavour was a good choice and I’d recommend - I would give it a 8/10

If you want to try something different for breakfast we would highly recommend Einstein Bros Bagels on the same site as KeKe's, it's just lower down near Starbucks. They serve the best bagels. It is always our first day breakfast place with several more visits during our stay.

Day 18 - Rainforest Cafe - Animal Kingdom

We were originally booked into The Edison for this evening but after realising that we would be in Animal Kingdom quite late and having the advantage of a Landrys Select card we decided to eat at the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom instead.

On entry and without a reservation a quick flash of the Laundry’s card and we were seated in minutes - it was super busy though so felt a bit smug at those waiting patiently to get in.

I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade and Dan an O Doules non alcoholic beer.

This was nice but normally they put loads of strawberry’s in the bottom and now its been cheapened down a bit

For our entrees I ordered a Blue Mountain Chicken Sandwich
Lemon grilled chicken, bacon, Swiss cheese, roasted red peppers, lettuce, zesty Safari sauce, which came with fries

This was lovely, much better than I expected, the chicken was moist, peppers roasted and bun tasty and the sauce that came with it was yummy - ill give mine 8/10

Dan ordered a flat iron steak - medium with the red skinned potato mash and veg

Dan really enjoyed his steak, said it was cooked nightly and was worth the money was not like a Yachtsman but was the standard he expected - he gives it a 7/10

I had $25 on my Landrys select card so had that deducted from the bill and the total came to $44.70 minus tip so all in all a great cheap meal - we didn’t stay for dessert but we still fancied something sweet so Dan went on a mission to Disney Springs to get some nice dessert ...

Walking past the queue with your Landry card always makes me think of Wayne’s World with their backstage passes to Alice Cooper 😁😁

Just a quick note to let those following know that I’ll continue the report tomorrow when morning once we’ve landed home and rested for a bit, we’ve had a car for the last couple of days and they’ve been jam packed so I’ve not had time to update but we’ve had some fantastic food at the food and wine, been to the Yachtsman and many other awesome places so keep posted
