I've just come across this report and read it right through, it's a great read. I really want the jalapeno cheese pretzel, I'm glad you got one.

Thanks for reading.

I hope you find the pretzel, they will have hidden it somewhere else by April Happy hunting!

Breakfast again at Woody’s lunch box. 4 pop tarts and a coffee. I do love those cranapple pop tarts. $21.

Ds and I walked back to the hotel along the walking path as we got fed up waiting on the boat. We stopped off at the shop at the boardwalk and got a peanut butter cookie and a sprite zero to replenish our energy. $9

For lunch we got a Turkey and Brie sandwich from YC quick service, it was massive, this picture is only half of it. I shared with Mil, it was really tasty. We also picked up a banana and chocolate bread from here as well for the morning.

Dh went to BC marketplace and picked up a pepperoni flatbread to share with ds, they liked it and a clam chowder for me and ds to share, awesome again. Dh also picked up a mountain mix, he is addicted to this stuff.

This evening we had dinner at Trattoria Al Forno. We had fancied this place for a while. It didn’t get off to the greatest start as the table we were sitting at was totally wonky and wobbly. So much so I had visions of wearing my dinner. The seater tried to sort it out less than successfully but then our lovely server appeared and sorted it out.
Mil and I had a glass of wine, dh had a beer and ds had a fanta.

Ds had Pettini di Mare - seared sea scallops, seasonal risotto, salumi Italiano, pecorino romano, he loved this.

Mil had Parmigiana di Pollo - Breaded Chicken Breast, Pecorino Romano, Provolone, fresh Pasta, Sunday Gravy, She enjoyed this but it was absolutely massive.

Dh had the steak which he enjoyed but was not the best of the holiday.

I had the sea bass which I can’t find on the menu. It was in a tomato sauce and was cooked perfectly, slightly too much sauce for me though.

I didn’t love it overall but I did like it, it is probably a good use of dining credits if you are an adventurous eater.

We thought about Ample Hills for dessert but there was nothing we fancied, probably still too full up after dinner. We walked into Epcot and went to the French bakery instead. So many good choices.

We had a strawberry tart, a chocolate éclair and a vanilla éclair, all gorgeous. $14.

Total food spends: $269

Trattoria al Forno is a bit too fancy for me (not a fan of sauces and the like). I can't believe you didn't find anything you fancied at Ample Hills, I can ALWAYS eat ice cream from there. The pastries from Les Halles look amazing though - I can never get over the size of the strawberries over there!

I’ve not made an adr at trattoria al forno for next time.

I think the lack of interest at ample hills was more fullness than the lack of choice. I was happy to get pudding in the French bakery though.

Are you all set for your holiday?

All checked out and back into Epcot to the French Bakery. I’m sure I could eat my way through half the cabinet.

We had 2 cheese and had croissants, a cheese and bacon roulade, a croque monsieur and a pan a chocolate.

It was all delicious. $31.

Strangely for us at the airport we did not go to Burger King, it was chaos the last time and I was keen to avoid it if possible. We were lucky and got a table straight away at Bahama Breeze.

Ds had a sprite and Jerk Chicken Pasta - Sliced jerk chicken breast, fresh asparagus and mushrooms tossed in a Parmesan cream sauce with bow-tie pasta. He loved it and demolished the lot.

Dh and I both had Grilled Chicken & Tropical Fruit on Mixed Greens - Fresh pineapple, red grapes, strawberries and mandarin oranges with goat cheese crumbles, candied almonds and drizzled with Island vinaigrette. We had had this last year at the Idrive Bahama Breeze and really enjoyed it. It was very nice, probably just the right level for before a flight. I had sprite and dh had a Strawberry Lemon Breeze which was very sweet, it was like drinking the tinned strawberries I used to get as a kid, he liked it well enough though.

Mil had the chicken Caesar salad, this was massive, way too much for her but she enjoyed what she had. She also had a lemonade.

This was a much more pleasurable experience than Burger King.

Total food cost for the last day $108

The french bakery looks delicious, must make an effort to go there while were at the BW. Trattoria looked good, it's not a massive wow I agree but it's handy when staying around there. I wasn't impressed by Bahama Breeze when we went offsite to one but your experience at the airport looks like a much more positive one.

The French Bakery looks like it has some really delicious things to eat. I hope we are hungry when we're over that way in Epcot this summer!
